house painters
+ -1 moreThings started out fine and they seemed to be listening to my concerns and requests. They agreed to get the carpentry repairs done and after they started painting told me they could not get a carpenter and painted over the problems. I had to hire a handy-man after they left to fix make a number of repairs they agreed to make and then in some cases paid again to get the areas repainted. After they put the paint on the house they emailed me a bill for $2,000 more than agreed too, no discussion and no warning. Frankly they didn't like me and after paying them I finished the job myself. From a distance the house looks fine and has a good coat of paint on it but I would not use them again.
Description of Work: They painted my home and all the trim detail around the house. They left paint drops and over-spray on a number of surfaces. No eye for detail, made repairs that looked worse when they were done. The rest of the team made fun of the 'lead painter' and did not listen to anything he told them. Got a lot of "yes, we will do that" and then no results. An example, they agreed to replace a broken trim board themselves since they could not supply a carpenter (see below) and later I found the old board in place painted over.
