R E Clarke's Tree Service

Description of Work: Mr. Clarke called me right back when I left a message. I asked him if he would give me a break on the price of the wood removal since it was beautiful knot free oak and beech. He said, no, that he gave the wood to, "the good people of Bow." and that he did not use the wood for anything or resell it and therefore I would have to pay full price. I didn't think that sounded right and was looking for someone else to do the job but he came and took the trees down before anybody else called me back. He's quick; I'll give him back. The guy who works for (J.) me showed up on the day they were taking down the trees and said he wanted some of the wood for himself. I had offered it to him since it was apparently going to be thrown away anyhow. Well, turns out that Mr. Clarke's nephew was there and HE DID want the wood after all. Neither Mr. Clarke nor his nephew looked too happy when J. pointed out that I was under the impression that all this wood was going to the, "good people of Bow." any how and he and I wanted it. They couldn't say anything to that so we got our wood but I don't feel that I was dealt with in an upfront and honest fashion.
