Oakwood Cabinetry and Flooring

I was referred to this company by The Home Service Store, who arrange installation services for Lumber Liquidator, for possible installation of laminate floors in my basement. The owner of the company first came to the house to measure, arriving promptly at the scheduled time. He measured both rooms, and also measured the humidity in the area to make sure that the type of flooring I wished to install was appropriate. When finished, he provided me with a complete list showing the amounts of materials that would be needed (underlayment, flooring, trim pieces, etc). I purchased these from Lumber Liquidators and arranged to have them delivered. The installer, who I believe is the owner's son, did the entire installation in a day and a half. He removed the exiting carpet, carpet pad, and other materials and disposed of them without any extra charge. He also removed the baseboard trim to install the wood beneath and replaced it after the flooring was laid, and the result looks seamless. He was quite conscientious; he worked efficiently and was careful to make sure that he met expectations. He made sure I was comfortable with him setting up his saw and equipment in the work area, and seemed to be especially careful to vacuum up all dust and debris. He clearly cares about doing a good job. The floor he put down looks beautiful. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a floor installer.
