Granite State Flooring

I hired this installer based on the positive reviews on Home Advisor. He came out quick to provide a quote. He laid down LVP floors and matching LVP stair treads I had purchased from a high end flooring store. The floor came out good, but almost immediately the stairs had issues. Within 2 days, they were moving and making noise. I had the sales rep from the flooring store come and look at them and he confirmed they were not installed correctly. Over the course of the next few weeks almost every single one of them moved each and every time I walked on them. Mike came back to remove and re-glue but I asked him to just remove and not re-glue so I could hire someone to properly install them. I had lost all confidence in his ability to install these stair treads correctly. During the process of removing them he damaged quite a few treads and risers and did not even tell me until he was completely done. I felt like it was only acceptable for him to cover the cost of the new material I would need to purchase to replace the ones he damaged but he has since stopped responding to messages. I now have to buy more materials and hire another installer to come install them correctly which is going to cost me even more money.

Mike was very accommodating since I put the job off a few times because of sickness. He showed up when promised , did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. More than happy with his work. I would definitely hire him again!

We donâ t normally bother leaving reviews, but the wife and I would like to extend our gratitude to Mike at granite state flooring. We met with a few different contractors and the only one who seemed to fully understand our vision was mike. Granite state installed new vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen and laundry room, pre finished wood in the living room and hallway and a water proof Laminate for the basement. What we thought was going to be a major project turned out to be only a three day job. Professional, prompt and polite, this company exceeded our expeditions in every way. Other contractors said the living room into the kitchen couldnâ t be done without transitions, Mike made everything seamless! And we couldnâ t be happier. This was a wonderful experience having our carpet replaced with wood laminate. Mike is professional, dependable, and considerate. I recommend him highly!
