Vacuum Cleaners
I brought in a vacuum cleaner that needed a new belt. I put down a deposit of $20 and asked how much the repair would likely be. I was told $25. I asked them to let me know if it was going to be more than that and they said they would call me if it was going to be more that $25.
All I wanted them to do was replace the belt.
When I went to get the vacuum cleaner I was presented with a bill for over $80. They never called to say it would be more. And why was it more? They went ahead and replaced additional parts without being authorized. They also had to be reminded about the $20 deposit.
