Jim Dionne was great to work with - thoughtful, skillful, thorough, professional and did exactly what he said he would do - on time, within the budget and with great results.   He listens well, notices things that will require attention in the future, makes suggestions, is organized in his approach.  I recommend Gecko Constructions and will approach them for project needs in the future.

I hired Gecko Construction & Development to demolish and rebuild my front deck. Jim, the owner, did all of the estimate work and construction himself. It was a fairly small job, but it was pretty important to me since the old deck was becoming a hazard to walk on. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Jim. He's not only one of the nicest contractors I've ever dealt with, but he put his heart into the work and did a really great job in a very short amount of time. He showed up on time, and kept in full communication with me beforehand about scheduling through email. He even showed up on a Saturday, and still kept the original price that he quoted me. This was a great experience and I plan to use Gecko Construction & Development again for future jobs.

Jim was great to work with.  My husband and I wanted to add space for a playroom/guest area.  Jim quoted 2 different options for us and we opted to finish a portion of our basement.  Though my husband could have done the job himself, I doubt that we would have as been as thorough and thoughtful as Jim was.  As we walked through our ideas with him, Jim pointed out additional considerations and even better ideas.  Jim was very patient in dealing with us as we had many questions and my husband is extremely detail oriented.  All of Jim's subcontractors did quality work and I didn't have any concerns with them being in my home.  With the multiple changes we made throughout the process we only deviated from the original quote by $225.  That's unheard of with a construction project.  All in all we are over the moon with Jim's work.
