CAMPING WORLD

The RV we purchased has a laundry list of issues discovered on the first outing. The response by the Sales and Service department has been lousy. On the Demo we discovered an issue with a motor that drops the bed over the fron cabin down for use. Tje passenger side motor did not function. They replaced it and off we went. We took a 140 mile trip to Maine and on the way up the right and then left turn signal camera's stopped functioning. Then the Leveling Jack panel flashed and alarmed for a second or two(more on that later). On the return trip home, the Awning would not come in without several tries. The gasket around the outside of the windshield started coming out and we had to put it back in several times on the way home. We were authorized to take the RV to a repair place after numerous calls to the dealer. We took it up to the dealer the next day for repairs. They looked things over and stated that they found a loose ground which may have accounted for the other issue but would not be able to get to the rest of the issue that week. We took another trip to the same place the next weekend. On the eay up the Leveling jack(you know, the previously mentioned thong) started flashng and warning about a jack going down. This would not be godd while driving on the freeway in traffic so I immediatly pulled over. After messing with the panel for a while, I called the service department. They adviseed me to consult my manual. Of coure I did not have a manual but Google is your friend, right. Most of the troubleshooting teps referenced checking the Hydrolic fliud reserior. When opening the compartment I discovered tht I had plenty of fluid but it was splashed all over the compartment. I checked the hose connections and they were all loose. I drove to an Auto Parts dealer after discussing the issue with the service department. I picked up some fluid , a funnel, and a cresent wrench. Tightened the connections filled the reservor and tried the leveling jacks again. Well, it still leaked all over the place. One of the hoses has a crimp problem. I also had trouble bringing the slideouts, and Awning in again. I found an outside compartment full of water after a rain as well. So, the dealer said bring it in and drop it off(Never a good idea), on Tuesday. I did. called on Wed. but they did not look at it. Complained, ok a lot, and called again on Thursday. They did get to it but would have to order parts. Waited until the following Tuesday(lost a weekend with the RV) to find out that they will not get the parts in until the following week, maybe. Losing another week and coming up on Labor Day weekend with big trip planned. SO, they could have ordered the part with a priority and I would even have paid the shipping, reluctantly. They could have got to it faster, etc. I am not a happy Camper (Pun intended).
