Ben from BD Crafters was a professional & genuine person from the beginning of the process of building our deck until the end. The craftsmanship and detail he put into the deck was exceptional, my husband and I were beyond pleased. With Benâ  s professional ideas and suggestions we have a beautiful, well built deck to enjoy for years to come with family & friends. From the timeframe it took to build to the exceptional craftsmanship of the deck we would highly recommend BD Crafters and would not hesitate for a second to hire him again.

I have been able to reclaim my outdoor space, thanks to Ben, more then happy with the results of our new deck, happy we went with his recommendations. Skilled craftsman, finished when promised, cleaned the whole work area, kept us informed with pictures and texts, would not hesitate to hire Ben again for other projects.

Ben was not the least expensive, but the quality of the work certainly justified the price. This was a job to restore the appearance of a 25- year-old log cabin in Franconia NH. The cabin had been improperly powerwashed and stained before drying, and a layer of black mold developed under the stain. Quotes to sandblast the building to rectify the situation approached $17,000 (before restaining). Ben was actually able to remove the old stain and mold by powerwashing. The building did require sanding afterwards to remove the raised grain, but after restaining it looked like new. We're very happy with the outcome. One bit of advice, either give Ben access to the interior to do a job like this, or plan to be there when it is done, as there will be a little bit of intrusion of water into the interior, and the cleanup is a lot easier if you catch it before it dries on the interior walls. Nothing damaging, just dirty water drips here and there.

I couldn't be happier with Ben at BD Crafters. Our original plan was to resurface our deck, but soon realized that the deck repair was beyond our ability and we needed a professional. Ben was very responsive, reasonably priced, and really worked with us to achieve our goal with-in our budget. The end result actually exceeded our expectations and was finished in the time that was promised. I can't recommend BD Crafters enough, and will defiantly be using Ben for our next project.

Working with BD Crafters was awesome! For starters, Ben calls you when he says he is going to, he replies to your text messages and emails, and also gave periodic status updates so you are never wondering what is going on . The cost of the job was exactly what he estimated, and he also started the job at the timeframe he estimated. The doors he installed look beautiful and I would highly recommend him. Ben is everything you hope for in a contractor and I plan on reaching out to him again in the future when we are ready to replace our deck!

This craftsman was very skilled in repairing our deck and we have great confidence in his work. He accomplished this all in one day, in spite of finding unknown problems with the joists. Our only reservation is that the job cost more than quoted because of these problems. However, he was clever in finding a solution without having to rebuild the whole deck.
