I tried reaching the company recommended by Angie's List, but I would have had to wait a few weeks.  Weatherwise was able to come that afternoon.  The price was higher, but it's possible that the quote from the other company didn't include dealing with a problem.  Not only did he do the work required, but he took the time to teach me basic maintenance and repair techniques.  He also wet-vacced the puddle that our pump had created before he arrived.

Work was promised for completion within 30 days (October 2009). Heating system was installed just before Thanksgiving after I threatened to cancel whole job. Heating system did not work properly immediately after installation due to an incorrect nozzle installed. It would go out periodically and I was told to just push the re-set button.Pipes were jury rigged and sub-code. Complaints to Weatherwise brought out an unqualified technician to check the system. Heat went out periodically from November through December. Technician said there was nothing wrong. Just hit re-set button. During the first week of January during a cold spell, I was fed up with them and called another company to fix the problem. They discovered the incorrect part and recommended bringing pipes up to code which was scheduled for a later date. Hollis building inspector was notified since no subsequent inspection was requested by Weatherwise. They do shoddy work and have unqualified people working for them. Avoid them a at all costs. I reported them to the NH Better Business Bureau, but they refused to compensate me for the extra work that was incurred due to their negligence.
