 + -1 moreWe are pleased beyond words with the work Stephen did for us and would (and have) gladly recommend him to anyone. We were always pleased with the estimates, and he has been very responsive to anything we wanted done or changed after the work. We shared our vision for the cottage with him and he helped with scheduling jobs over 4-5 years so that everything came together in an orderly fashion.
Description of Work: Stephen worked for us on our cottage every winter from 2010-2014. Total cost is estimate after many jobs and includes things such as appliances and flooring that we purchased that he installed during the process. Stephen basically redid our cottage on the inside plus all windows, roofing and porch. He sub-contracted out the insulation, electrical and plumbing. He removed old paneling and suspended ceilings and installed beadboard wainscoting and ceilings as well as sheetrock on upper walls. He installed our kitchen cabinetry after extensive furring strips to the front walls of this nearly 100 year old cottage to make the front inside walls plumb. He installed the engineered hardwood flooring that we selected. Stephen offered many great ideas and even sent us photos of his work as he progressed, ( we were away as this is a seasonal cottage and he did the work in the off season). Stephen is extremely personable and was a total pleasure to deal with.
