This is a great place for your cat. They obviously care about the animals.

We use this kennel whenever we need to board our cat. I rated them 'fair' on price, because they charge the going rate and so it is ''fair'. They do reduce the daily charge if you're boarding for over 30 days.
Tracey, the owner, is very knowlegable about cats, in addition to having some of her own, I believe she has a background as a vet tech. We like dealing with her and her husband.
One thing that separates them from others is that they generally care about the cats, you can tell when you talk to them. The facility itself isn't huge but they do have an upstairs area as well.
They do have 'hours', so you can't just drop in at anytime of the night to pick up or drop off your cat.

When I take my cat up to ScratchingPost, I put her in her crate--which she hates---but when the drive gets longish, she settles down because she knows where she is going. (The vet is a short trip.) When we arrive at what looks like a home, the owner(s) greet us and we review the directions which I have typed out and give my cat her own and quot;condo.and quot; By now, however, I just indicate if there are any changes. My cat settles in relatively quickly and I can leave without guilt. The owners know my vet, so I feel confident that if anything should happen, they will know what to do.

A friend referred me here. They were able to do all sorts of preventative medicine and diet changes. They recommended putting items into her food and water. They also placed her on steroids. These treatments have been able to keep her healthy for months now where previously we were taking her into the vet weekly.
