It went extremely well. Communication was excellent and work done as agreed upon. Ryan gave attention to detail! Everyday they picked up their mess and completed the job in a timely manner. It has been 2 years since we had the entire house sided and we are as pleased with the job now as when it was done. I would not hesitate to recommend him and we would definitely hire him and his crew again should we have a need in the future,

I had four contractors come to give me a quote to have two load bearing walls removed. Ryan was prompt, professional and came in with a competitive estimate. I was thinking of having beams put in, but he suggested to have LVL's put in the ceiling and hang the joists. This is what I originally wanted but did not think I could afford. His price was only slightly higher than the others quoted me for beams (lesser work). I expected that there would be additional costs, especially when it was determined that four LVL's were needed instead of three and 14 inch LVL's instead of 12 inch. Yet, the bill matched his estimate and the work was completed in less time. What amazed me even more, is how clean and professional his crew was. Each day the work area was spotless. Ryan advised me on tiling tips and even took some of my demolition debris that I had from earlier, as he had room in his trailer. I recommend Fontaine Construction to anyone and everyone. Ryan and his team were amazing in every way. Not only did they do fantastic work but they exercised a lot of patience and attention to detail with our project. This entailed Ryan walking the space about 4 times before we even signed a contract, just to be sure he understood what we wanted. Communication of progress and issues were timely – and in our case made to myself on the West Coast and my brother occupying the space – so double the efforts. They also are very up front about any potential or surprise issues and the best way to resolve them – NOT the most expensive way – the most proper. We now have him doing some work at my parents’ house and I am planning to use him for a garage/mudroom/laundry room addition in the fall. Note that the cost may look high but take into account the cost of putting in a proper support beam to replace a supporting wall, having 2 pocket doors installed, complete electrical rewiring and foam insulation (was all old and original) as well as an ADA shower unit costing about $2k itself from the manufacturer.
