Smitty's Garage put the car on the lift and looked at it. He told me the same thing that others had told me, that the car was too far gone and too old to repair and that I should get a new one. He had spent a good 25 minutes looking at the car with me, seeing if he could help me. He just couldn't do it. He didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis because I do so much business with him. They know me by face there. In the past, they've been timely on repairs and accurate on what quote they give you. They're good people. They're pretty good and getting their name known around here. It's a top notch garage and it's been around for four or five years from now. They will work on any vehicles. When I go to pick out a new vehicle, I'll bring it in to him for inspection before I buy it. You're not just a number there.
