Jon was always prompt and professional. He communicated with us in a timely fashion and worked with our schedule. He understood the scope of our project, and planned the work to suit our needs. He gave us good advice for the parts of the project we wanted to do ourselves, and didn't try to turn our project into a bigger one. Both my husband and myself felt comfortable with him and trusted his expertise.

I meant to write this review a while ago but I have been too busy enjoying my summer on our refinished deck! Thanks Wathen for such great work, great price and great people!

I feel like #1 most important quality, he understood this was a special kind of loan. We purchased a vacant, foreclosed property. We knew we could not afford to do everything that needed to be done. But his expertise came into play and he helped stretch our budget, we touched every part of the house at least a little bit, to where it would be comfortable for us to move into. He treated this as if it was his own and gave us good advice. He said, "If this was my home I would do this" and he would explain why. He even explained the entire loan process to me and my own loan company did not do that. I was getting wonderful quality work from the people that worked with him or for him, they were all great. While they were working, we did not have to leave the house, they were comfortable to be around. They were all very pleasant people and respected our home. We are ready to call him back out to do some additional remodeling work.

He quoted me a price and the work ended up having to take a little longer because of my uneven house. He never charged me more and the work turned out great.

He was very clean while they were doing the work. He kept me informed of everything and it was a great experience having him do the job for me. They ran into some unexpected issues and went above and beyond to work through to make sure it was a quality job.

Jon is a great contractor with very competitive pricing. I would never hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to someone.
