CertaPro Painters® of Concord/Manchester NH

This group was used to paint the interior of my house. I was hoping to get a group that would be professional and trustworthy. What I ended up getting was a group that did not honor my paint choices, and tried to get the job done as quickly as possible. I wanted the highest quality paint, when they showed up to the job they brought the cheaper value paint, not what I specified. They where contracted to smooth out nail holes and divots, that did not happen. They did not tape anything off and it shows as allot of trip ended up painted. Also there is an area of my house they just did not paint. They were contracted to fix a crack in the wall and after 6 months it opened back up. This job happened around March of last year, and I thought about this post for a long time but I feel I need to give this review. They made me loose all faith in paint contractors which is really disappointing. I gave two stars because they did show up. But the work was of such poor quality, and I’m not sure if I have the cheaper paint on my walls. I would never use them again.

Good as expected

It went great. First, they came out and looked at my house within a couple days of my calling them, and they were able to start pretty soon after that (about a month). I thought of a couple other things to do when they started, and they did them with no problem and didn't add to their estimate even when I said I'd be fine with that. (Yet they subtracted from their estimate when we decided to throw away our fake shutters, instead of painting and rehanging them.) I'm pretty picky (as a teenager I worked summers for a high-end house painter), and I found a few touch-ups near the end, but that's an inevitable part of the process, and they did them all with no problem. They also cleaned up and removed all of their carpentry and paint-related mess. So, no drama, no nickle-and-diming, a very professional job.

The only thing that surprised me is that the carpenters left multiple bags of trash (cuttings from new trim) in black trash bags. I am pleased they nagged the materials, but would have expected them to take the waste. In fairness, this was not specified in the contract, which I will be sure to do in the future.

We are very pleased with the results.  They did an excellent job.

I'm very satisfied with the job results and the business owner, Dennis Lasalle. I obtained five quotes for this job and interviewed each candidate. Dennis seemed to be the most knowledgeable about the preparation process, such as where to caulk and, where not to. He was very responsive and returned phone calls and e-mails promptly. He has just the right temperament or, "bedside manner"  for this job when one considers that there are literally millions of color combinations and it's not always easy for homeowners to know what they want at first. His crews, including carpenters and painters, were very professional and courteous. I enthusiastically recommend this Certa-Pro company.

It turned out wonderful. The franchise owner is teriffic. The workers are polite, clean up after themselves, and do a really good job for a good price. We would never use anyone else.

We have some other areas that need attention and I am considering using them for that work. They were professional with the work. We were very satisfied with the quality. I believe the cost was not inexpensive.
