"Unfortunately, this installation was put in for a couple who are both very difficult. There would be no way to satisfy them no matter what you are offering and I hope for all business owner's sake you are able to avoid doing any work for them. Ultra Geothermal installed a complete geothermal system for the member's and they complained about everything from the paint we used on the sheet metal to the glue on the piping. The member told our company that we are not environmentally friendly for driving more than one vehicle to the job, when we had 4 employees to get there with only small pick-ups. She went on to complain to the men that the cologne and deodorant they wore was offensive and that she could even smell their dryer sheets on their clothes. This led to her insane accusations of the smell of the heatpump in operation (which there is none - it is run off ground water!). She continued to talk about excessive water noise running in the house, well it sounds just like her domestic water has always sounded. When you turn water on to the member's faucet you get the same sound as when the geothermal heating system turns on and that is the noise. After a series of many trips to the members house to see and hear the system all parties involved could not see any problems. The members then called Ultra Geothermal back for a service call on a condensate pump they claimed was broken. In all actuality they had turned off the power supply to the unit and then The member refused to pay us for the service call, that clearly had no malfunctioning items to replace. Finally the The member did pay the serivce bill, after several months, since they wanted to have us continue to service the unit since they felt our services were obviously what they wanted to have. In the end you can take everything said above with a grain of salt since there are just some people out there that will always be unhappy with anything that they purchase. If you are looking at Ultra Geothermal as a company we have over 700 installations in the last 12 years and with the exception of a very small handful everyone is 100% satisfied with us.
