Deck is beautiful, quality is great, couldn’t be happier.

We are delighted with our new deck replacing the old wood and railing. Steve did a beautiful job. It is just what we wanted. He was courteous, prompt and completed the job quickly and neatly as promised. We highly recommend him.

Decks look good from far away and are functional but up close they are very off square and sloppy. I was expecting better quality for the price and someone with so much deck-building experience. I cannot say it was due to lack of good help, the owner did most of the work himself.

Great looking deck, done on time and on budget. Had one minor issue with a board sagging three years later, and Steve came right out and fixed it, free of charge- much appreciated!

I looked at home advisor to point me to a reputable company to add a deck to my new home. Steve from Respro reached out to me and was out soon after to give me a quote and even had different samples of material I could choose from. I could tell he had a ton of experience and had some design wisdom that has since proved invaluable in the actual use of my space. Needless to say we hired Respro to do the job. Steve and his crew showed up at the expected time, didn't make a mess and completed the job timely. We love our new deck and highly recommend Respro to anyone looking to build a deck.

Poor craftsmanship, lazy, many corners cut. He came back several times to correct mistakes that he owned, but, I am done allowing this. Most recent transgression... now 2 or 3 years later, is that stairs are shifting for the second time. The first time, the beams were placed on pillar / cement blocks. I was told that he would come correct this by putting sauna tubes in... looked fine in the summer but, when they started to shift in cold weather again, I dug down and found them only 18 deep (should be 48 deep)... this is consistent with many other aspects of my experience constructing a brand new 17k deck.

We have been wanting to add a small deck to our ranch home and tried last year to find a contractor that would be interested in our project but never received a call back from any of them. So we tried Home Advisor and received a call back the next day from Respro Decks. Steve gave us a date that he was available to meet with us and promptly arrived at our home with his portfolio of very impressive decks of various sizes that he and his crew built. Looking at his portfolio was very helpful in deciding the design of our deck. Steve said he had a few jobs to finish up and gave us an approximate date of when he could start our job. He kept his word and started exactly on the date he gave us. Steve and his team were very timely, polite, neat and efficient and worked well together. They made the job look easy and were done in less than two full days. We love our deck and would definitely recommend an honest and professional company like Respro Decks.

Very hard to get a hold of. So many red flags from the first payment that I should have gone with my gut feeling and simply requested the return of whatever monies I had paid and gone elsewhere. The positive reviews were one of the reasons I did not. The few negative reviews were quite similar to my experience. The deck work was to add on to an existing deck to reach a portion of the pool. Not a lot of the deck went around the pool. Just enough to get in and out. The design was great. The quality of work was not on par with someone doing decks since 1994 (as advertised) nor was it conducive with their statement of unwavering ethics and quality workmanship. I started off with one code violation (which was one of the reasons I hired Respro) and ended up with 10 more upon completion of the deck. While Steve and crew returned after they were provided a list of code violations, I have to say that after having paid all winter long and after the looks of this deck upon fixing all the violations, I cannot look at my brand new 16K deck and be ecstatic. I have more nail holes in the steps because he used finish nails on the decking to secure the steps and instead of replacing the decking, he simply put screws in (which should have been used in the first place). The list goes on. I am so dissatisfied with my deck and out almost 16K. I hope that when people are reading the reviews, that they pay attention to the negative ones on this company because they were spot on. I am still awaiting one code violation to be fixed.

Respro Decks was kind enough to take over a project that had been abandoned by a previous contractor. Not only did Respro Decks complete the deck in a timely manner but they also corrected the multiple code violations committed by the previous contractor. My husband and I have only the highest praise for Respro Decks.

After being abandoned by our original contractor, Steve was willing to complete and improve the project. This included addressing nine code violations from the prior contractor. All work was initiated promptly and completed expertly within three and a half days. We were extremely fortunate to find Steve. He is truly a skilled and caring professional and we highly recommend his services.

Steve is super easy to work with and communicate with; he offered multiple options for the deck plan we chose and had the entire deck done in 4 days. Would definitely recommend him!

Steve and his crew are very easy to work with. Steve answered my questions, listened to my ideas and adapted my changes. We have not had the best spring, here in Maine, but the guys worked through the cold and wet. I highly recommend Respro Decks.

Steve very patiently worked with me to design and build a deck and carport that I would love and would fit into my tight budget. I am very happy with both and they look great! I've recommended him to friends already.

The man was difficult to get ahold of and then we were made to wait an unreasonable length of time for him to start the project. The deck was not built exactly as laid out in the contract. A year later he still has not returned to place the final pieces of composit next to the house.

All good. ! As Steve did not have my correct number he couldn't get in touch with me.. I had texted but he did not get these. He is coming next week to fix areas that need correcting. I am very happy that he called to set up a visit when he saw my review. We love our new deck and steps!

Steve was phenomenal. He was on time, showed up when he said he would, and finished very quickly. The deck looks great and really shows the experience and high level of craftsmanship that Steve brings.
