I worked with 2 different contractors through the NH saves program... and by FAR, Mill City is the better group to work with!!!! Owner Mike and his crew did a much better job than the first contractor. I was so relieved. Mike (and his team) really care... they care about carefully completing every detail of the project, they care about the house and their customers and Mike cares about welfare of his workers. They were punctual, respectful, good communicators and good-natured crew and really easy to work with. I had work done July 2017 and it is remarkable how much easier it is already to keep my 2nd floor cool (it used to be unbearably hot on 2nd floor on sunny days). I am positive I will save a great deal and be more comfortable in the winter as well. I highly recommend NH Saves program and specifically, Mill City Energy

Crew was very professional and detail oriented. Made sure to cover my floors and keep my house clean when going to the attic.

The work was done well from what I can tell. The crew was not as professional as I would have liked. They arrived 2+ hours late due to a van that wouldn't start on a very cold day, which is understandable. When they arrived, the team started walking everywhere in my house without telling me much about what they were doing. They did left dirty footprints on laundry in the basement that they easily could have either moved or stepped around. Debris was left in the basement and in the yard. Dirty footprints were left on the wall near where they accessed the attic. Workers left Dunkin' Donuts cups in my yard instead of throwing them away in my nearby trash barrels. One worked smelled of marijuana. It's hard for me to assess the work itself as I am not qualified to know whether it was done well or not, but it seems OK. The team really came into my house like a herd of elephants. I think they can work on their "bedside manner", so to speak. I did raise a couple of these points via text message with the manager and he apologized and offered to make it up but I wasn't certain what I could even ask him to do.
