Excellent workmanship

In late January our combination heat/hot water boiler died on a Tuesday and the team from Custom Climates accommodated us with a new one two days later. The owner knows his stuff, was not pushy with the estimate and he and his staff performed the work in a very courteous, professional manner. Very pleased with the outcome.

I called Custom Climates, Insul-Kings, and Anderson Insulation for spray foam quotes for my house in Dracut. Custom Climates was the least expensive ($6,300 vs Insul-King's $7,300 and Anderson's ridiculous $10,400), and it was clear from talking to Jon that he knew what he was talking about when it came to spray foam. This work was part of a second-floor renovation of my small, Cape-style house. Two 12' x 12' bedrooms, plus a hallway between them. We had closed cell foam sprayed along the entire roof and walls, mostly so we could have conditioned storage space behind the knee walls and because we had a heating pipe there as well. The work was performed in September, and we definitely noticed the difference this winter. No ice dams, and significantly lower heating bills. Jon was also very accommodating in terms of scheduling, answering questions, and getting some documentation for the building inspector. Their work passed inspection without any issues. His crew showed up on time, sealed off the area to keep the rest of my house clean, and finished on time. I have no complaints, and I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

Jon showed up for the quote and was very thorough in his presentation and in finding the best and most affordable setup for my particular house.  We scheduled install about two weeks out from when I approved the quote. 
His crew was polite and friendly to both myself and my family.  They did their best to keep from disrupting us and making a mess.  They completed all requested items in a timely fashion and one gentlemen even was kind enough to bring our kids a little treat for Christmas, I felt this was a nice, sincere gesture.  
When everything was complete I was a tad bit disappointed we didn't receive a tutorial on how the system worked, how to program thermostats, and what noises we may expect to hear from the system.  I read all the manuals and sorted it out myself, but it would have been nice to have a quick conversation on how everything works.
About a week after install we had a cold snap and the system was not able to hold the temperature on the first floor.  I called Jon and he came out the very next morning.  He inspected everything to ensure the system was operating correctly, and suggested we insulate the duct work that runs in the basement.  He did this with no obligation from me, stating I wouldn't be charged if it didn't solve the issue.  He ended up foam insulating both the duct work and the sill of the house and this solved the issue.  He is charging for supplies, but I think this only fair since he did the sill as well and it has made a noticeable difference.
Overall I am very satisfied with the honestly, integrity, and professionalism provided by Jon and his crew.  I would certainly recommend him and utilize him for any future needs.

The technician couldn't have been friendlier.He spent time with the customer, showing me the entire inner workings of the furnace. I felt very confident in his abilities, and will definitely use this company again.

It went very well. They arrived on time and ready to work. All 3 were very professional and the owner Jon was very helpful in making us feel at ease. He wanted to know if we had any concerns and was more than happy to go over the entire process one more time to eliminate any stress or worry we may have had. My husband and I felt very comfortable with him. In regards to the job, when we got home we were pleasantly surprised. They were finished and gone but the attic looked completely different. All the cracks and crevices were filled and the amount of natural light that came in and reflected off the spray foam was astounding! We actually can't wait for winter to feel the difference in heat savings. We are also having Custom Climates back in September to spray foam our basement.

Jon and his team at Custom Climates were great to work with. They designed and installed our central air system, then provided annual services afterwards. Their work was performed excellently, clean & neat, and completed on time and on budget. They responded quickly to all calls and questions that we had about the system.

They were not from the list and I used their services when I lived in New Hampshire because I just moved out to Portland. They were fantastic guys. They were very neat and tidy and wore little booties in the whole bit. They were very straightforward and honest. There was nothing that they could improve on. They were very honest and straightforward with me. They were very quick; I mean I called them one day and they were here the next day. In terms of price, I did not know too much about prices, I really did not know. I thought I got a good deal. I would do business with them in the future. In fact, they called me not too long ago, not realizing I had moved. They called me and asked me, saying it was time for them to come and do the yearly check and make sure everything was ok.
