I can't speak highly enough about Joe and his work. He returned my initial call promptly, asked me to send pictures of what I wanted done, assessed my project, and sent me a proposal right away which I accepted. He showed up on time each of the 2 days he worked here - always a plus. He's a worker - after coming in and taking a look at what the job was first hand, he set to work and didn't stop until it was the day was done (save a quick lunch break). I had asked him to remove chair rail and decorative molding from a fairly large entry way - a lot of linear feet of molding - and it was glued on. What a mess but the end result is amazing. You can't tell that there was molding anywhere - the walls are smooth as glass. His cleanup was perfect. I've already asked him to do another project. If you're looking for a plasterer, you'll have no regrets if you go with Joe Foti.

I would give Joe Foti Plastering 10 stars if I could. He was reasonably priced, arrived on time, finished ahead of time, and his work and attention to detail surpassed my expectations. The ceilings he repaired are as smooth as glass and he achieved this without sanding. Joe listened to my questions and offered expert advice that was truly appreciated and exactly what was needed. When he finished the job the place looked as though he had never been there. When I am ready to have the walls repaired there is no one else I will call. I needed 3 walls re plastered after removing several layers of wall paper. Within minutes of posting the job here for quotes, Joe called me. His quote was quite reasonable. He showed up exactly on time, and set to work. The job took 5 hours. Joe was courteous, his work is top quality and he cleaned up the work area to how it was when he arrived. I needed someone to install sheet rock and a skim coat of plaster. Joe not only did a great job but he was a pleasure to deal with as well as he is very professional. To be honest, I ended up changing plans. However, I was contacted by Foti Plastering the same day I made my Service Magic query. He came over to give me an estimate the very next day, and then sent a written estimate via e-mail that was very descriptive and reasonable. He stated that he was wiling and available to work within my time constrains (wanted it done within a week). I would recommend Foti, even though I didn't end up using him because my plans changed.

I was happy with his quote for fixing water damaged ceilings in two rooms and additional plaster work for three rooms and a hallway. He told me it would be three days. He not only finished in three days but also showed up at exactly the time he said he would every day. He cleaned up each room perfect at the end of each day. Very professional and the job came out great.

A simple paint job turned into a nightmare but Joe plastered my entire ceiling and it looks fantastic. Joe was very neat and was down to earth attitude.
