WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
Having just moved here 3 years ago from across the country, finding a new vet was one of the most difficult tasks. We chose wisely and no matter what your issue, you can't go wrong at Ponemah Veterinary Hospital. The dogs just love going to the vet - they start happy barking as soon as we turn onto that piece of highway.
Things we've presented to Ponemah Veterinary Hospital:
A kitty, Suzie with a foot laceration
A Maine C*** cat, Bertie, diagnosed with Diabetes
A limping Yellow Lab (Caesar) that went through various tests, treatments and surgery for over a year, until we determined the mysterious pain and swelling was a soft tissue carcinoma in his foot - Dr. Edwards brought in a consulting surgeon and Caesar had his front leg amputated. It was a great success and Caesar is so relieved to not have the constant pain in that leg anymore.
Our Border Collie was infected with heartworm (and resulting high blood pressure) (Poor Alex! This is NOT a fun treatment!) But he's fine now!
A cat, Isabelle with a wound that biopsied similar to MRSA (resistant bacteria)
We hope that this year we see a lot less of Dr Edwards and Dr Sanfilippo, but cannot recommend them highly enough. The entire staff at Ponemah Veterinary Hospital is so well trained, happy, animal-loving, helpful, attentive and so very professional - no matter what it is, we know our animals are in the best of hands.
