Great! Very satisfied.

I phoned at about 8:30 a.m., describing the squealing noise intermittently coming from my car's wheels, and my concern that it might be my brakes. I was offered an 11 a.m. appointment. When I got there, Doug was friendly and remembered what I had told him on the phone; he took my car for a ride and agreed the sound was coming from the brakes. Once the tires were off, he saw the rear pads were pretty much gone, but the front brake pads were only 70% gone and he suggested I wait another 5 months or so to get those done. The office offered a coupon discount even though I hadn't brought a coupon with me, and Doug noticed my "service" light was lit on my dash (it had come on the day prior, and I was due for an oil change). In less than 1 1/2 hours I had new back brakes and the oil changed. What a relief!

I took my car to Meineke with no real idea of the problem I was having with my brakes. The front driver's side wheel was making scraping noises and the brakes were making a very unnerving rumbling sound whenever I tried to stop. In the past when I have dealt with auto repair shops I would have a very sick feeling if I did not know exactly what was wrong with my car. It is just too easy for the shop to prescribe a lot of expensive work. In this case it turned out that they discovered that the issue was simply that my brake pads were not sliding smoothly on their pins and were getting jammed against the rotor at an odd angle. They diagnosed the problem, took the rotors apart, cleaned them up, and put it all back together again for a very reasonable $50 charge for "caliper service". This service event has made me feel even better about the shop than I felt previously. The service managers Bob and Frank are also extremely helpful, friendly, and professional and make you feel like you are in good hands. I will definitely be going back!

They were very nice and informed me that my care was in very good condition and past all their inspection. I was very well satisfied with the service and will go back there again
