So, I went to pick up my vehicle from Aamco Transmission in Amherst, NH and Mark began to say he noted a noise from the rear differential and said it could be the tires. I said to him it may be tires... I went on to drive it home and the shifting was rougher with the transmission and there is now a whine with the vehicle. Every time I accellerate the "whine" sounds.... Now I call Mark back about this whine that I did not have until I brought it to Aamco.... Mark said its because you drive with your radio on and didn't notice this sound before..... I asked Mark to look at it again and he said it was road tested before we did the work and that whine was there.... I totally disagree with Mark at Aamco Transmission. Now i have a vehicle that makes a loud noise every time you accellerate.
My wife drove this and told me - what did you do to this vehicle It makes alot of noise as you accellerate.
Mark told me that he will listen to the noise to see if it changed from the time you brought it in...... That is crazy I never had any noise during acceleration from the Transmission, Front Diff, Front transfer case or Rear Differential before I brought this to Aamco. Now I do ...right after I pick up my vehicle from doing this service with Aamco Transmission. I have people who ride in my vehicle that says - what's with the noise from your transmission. This is very frustrating that I go to a Transmission expert to have 100,000 mile service preventative work done and now I return with a vehicle that makes noise during accelleration.

OVERALL B Rating UPDATED -
March 2012 Latest update - Tom (the owner) worked with me and test drove the vehicle, placed it on a lift, the change is a result of the full synthetic Rear Differential Oil vecosity from 90 W regular gear oil to a specialized 70-80w full Synthetic that was verified while on the lift. They spent at least one hour working with me to make sure I was satisfied.
I appreciate the follow up with me and I'm changing the rating from F to B rating.
