"I hired Mike to install carpet in my basement after it flooded. He was very professional and polite. He was very careful when moving my furniture, you can definitely tell he takes pride in his work. My carpet looks wonderful. I would definitely recommend him!"

"Excellent all the way around.  Courteous, professional and prompt. In addition to a badly needed driveway replacement,  I wanted to add a step to the front porch so they were easier for me and others to manage going up and down them.  Mike gave me suggestions on  how to do that and how to improve the whole look of the entry way.  The crew were able to get to my job quicker than they initially thought and all was done professionally and on time.  I would use this company again and recommend it to others.

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

Use baking soda and vinegar or shaving cream to fix your carpet stains. But if you prefer a quicker solution, rent a carpet shampooer and use an enzyme-based cleaner to treat and resolve your discolored carpet issue.

Maintenance practices include regular vacuuming, prompt spill cleaning, and periodic professional deep-cleaning to remove embedded dirt particles and rejuvenate fibers.

You can use a carpet patch to replace a single section of carpet. You’ll cut out the damaged section and then replace it with a caret patch. The patch should be the same color as the existing carpet. You can also hire a professional carpet repair company to get it done.

The best solvent for removing carpet glue depends on its chemical composition. Most carpet glue reacts well to a solvent made from orange oil. Use mineral spirits to remove tar-based glue, which has a darker, brownish tint. Methylene chloride paint stripper and lacquer thinner should also work, but beware of the nasty and dangerous fumes.

Typically, it takes a few hours, depending on the extent and area of repairs needed.
