We had our carpets cleaned last Friday and they look practically brand new! My wife and I could not be happier! Our three childrenthat and their friends are always dragging in dirt, mud, or snow. This kid traffic continuously stains our white carpets. After another carpet cleaning performed by Service Master, our carpets looks as good as new! Thanks for the fast and excellent service we have come to expect!

It went very well. They kept us informed. They cleaned up well. They came out and checked smells that we had and deodorized our house.

One negative was that a piece of mop board and quarter round was missing when contractor came to fix our walls.

We would highly recommend them.

Insurance paid them so we do not know the cost.

Our basement took water from the seam where the floor meets the wall during the bad storm over Fathers Day 2014.  Service Master of Sooland responded quickly with lots of knowledgeable workers.  They proceeded to remove all the damage material, get the basement dry, and bring down the humidity level ensuring no mold took.  They were very professional and courteous.  Steve and Scott are genuine people who are here to help.

Jim, and crew came on time and cleaned my house. This was a follow up from an initial pipe break with 5 days of water pumping into our basement while we were gone for five days. The emergency crew came out and worked from  11:30-2:30 AM cutting out carpet, ripping up pad and moving furniture. Dehumidifiers and fans were lugged in and the next day baseboards were removed.

Sensors were taken at how far up moisture was in the wallboard so sheet rock was cut out and insulation was removed. All garbage and damaged items were removed. This happened over Easter 2014.  And finally after the basement was put back together we had Jim and crew come to clean the house. The entire time, service master was punctual, professional, efficient, helpful and thorough. When something like this happens, you are stunned at what to do, service master helped us all along the way.

They put fans in to dry the water up.  The water was not extracted from carpet  It should have been vacuumed up in the areas where water was sitting.  It sat for 3-4 days wet.  When they went through the contents, they FORGOT to put things on the list.  The things they forgot to add on the contents list were worth $1,411.85.  They took these items.  Some of the items were books & movies.  They said they would go through them at the office but never did.  Would NEVER use again.  The managers was rude & unhelpful.

"The [removed member name] were treated to the same customer care and respect that we provide to all of our customers, which is obvious on this Angie's List review page. They also signed the CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND STATEMENT OF SATISFACTION which allows the Insurance Company to pay us. If they were not satisfied with our service these documents should not have been signed. This loss was received on 01/18/2014 at 6:00 pm, our crews were on site at 7:30 pm that same night. The affected area was not able to be extracted initially because of the large amount of furniture & personal property present in the 22 x 22 foot basement. There was no room to move the contents so that we could access the floor as the entire area was packed and stacked. Drying equipment including dehumidifiers and air movers were set that night in the accessible walkways to start the drying process. The loss was documented and photographed for insurance company. On Monday 01/20/14 a storage pod was set and a local moving company was subcontracted to pack out the contents & furniture in the basement. The moving company spent the entire day of 01/21/14 packing out the basement. On Wednesday 01/22/14 we removed the carpet and all drywall was cut up to 2 feet high. Affected areas were cleaned & sanitized. Drying was completed and moisture reading were documented per industry standards. Additional photos were taken and a drying report was completed for the insurance company. The insurance company had us photograph & document the contents of the storage pod and noted that the customer would inventory some of the damaged personal property herself. After the dry-out was complete the [removed member name] hired a contractor to complete repairs. Initially, [removed member name] indicated that everyone in her family suffered from allergies. We asked the insurance adjuster to authorize the use of Air Scrubbers in the basement to help alleviate any issues that might occur. We placed an additional Air Scrubber on the main floor at no charge to her or the insurance company as reassurance to [removed member name]. Every water loss is different and unique in its own way. Although this loss was difficult, it was not out of the ordinary of what we do every day. This loss was challenging due to the large amount of personal property located in a very small area. All the vendors involved are professional firms that have been in business for many years. There were many times during the process of this claim that [removed member name] was contentious and confrontational with each of the vendors and insurance adjuster. There was no vendor involved who escaped her negative comments about the other. Her attitude towards the entire claim was at times inconsistent and irrational."

Removed water in the basement,. They removed water, removed carpet, cut out contaminated sheet rock, made sure everything was dry, disinfected entire area.

They arrived on time, they were professional and courteous. You couldn't have better people come to your home. They knew what they were talking about and did things very well. Couldn't have better service.  We were given a quote and it held true with no surprises.

I was out of town and this company took charge of other contractors and saw that the leak was taken care in a quick and adequate manner...all carpet was removed, mold taken care of, temporary sink was installed, and telephone reports were given to us daily while I was out of town...I wouldn't use any other firm...I have had servicemast of sooland do work for me in commercial buildings and allways found them honest and very prompt...

We had a fire at our business and hired  ServiceMaster of Sooland to do all the work, including sub contracting.  We had tons of smoke damage in the garage and office area so it needed to be gutted and redone.  We needed new electrical, and furnace.  They sub contracted out for that but was included in my bill.  All workers were polite and hard working.  They took everything out of my office and garage and carefully stored it with the container they provided and also gave me access to it if I needed something while they were working.  Don't worry if you have something that's not perfect in the end because our electrical outlets were not working right in the garage and I called them up, they sent someone out same day and fixed issue quickly. They cleaned EVERYTHING in my office down to the telephones and staplers.   Now everything looks like new in my garage and office.  They did a great job and are quick to respond with any questions or issue I had.  Would recommend

They were very honest and upfront about everything.  They seemed professional and they got the job done quickly.  We compared them to two other companies and they were about the same price.  We live in Oklahoma and this was my mother’s basement in Iowa.  I had to trust them that they would be able to go in there and do the job.  He kept me updated every day about what they were finding and he sent me pictures of her basement as the work was being done.  I was very satisfied with them.  He sent a letter to the insurance company giving his professional opinion about what caused the water damage to begin with.  I couldn’t have been happier with him.  It was $4,800 to do the vents and the air conditioning plus he gave me a certification for the house.  When we sold the house I had the official certification that was needed for the sale of the house.  I don’t do this every day so I have nothing to compare it to.  I talked to someone else who was higher in price and they weren’t going to include the certification.  Being 600 miles away, I really didn’t know what was going on every day and with the assurance of being updated every day, I was very satisfied.  When the inspector came to do the certification, he felt some of the drywall still needed to come down.  They took care of that at no extra charge.  I was very pleased with that.  They got it done in a timely fashion but I wasn’t there so I don’t know if they were there on time every day.  I hope I would never need them again but I would use them if I needed to and I would recommend them to anybody.
