I was told that they would pour concrete on Tuesday or Wednesday. On Tuesday evening (after and quot;normaland quot; working hours) two men showed up and prepped the area, pulling weeds, even though I had volunteered to have my yard workers come with their weed-eater. On Wednesday others came back and added additional dirt to level the pour site; it was stormy all around so they did not pour. It turned out that we did not get rain, but I did not blame them for waiting. On Thursday they came in and finished prepping the area with additional dirt and the truck showed up about 10:30 in the morning. I was very pleased with the results and the owner stopped by later in the evening around 6 p.m. - I just happened to see him through the window - to check the work. I would recommend Blackhawk Construction; the price was definitely good compared to others, the owner and his workers were very congenial, they cleaned up, and I was very pleased with the finished and quot;brushedand quot; concrete patio.
