Metro Sod & Seeding Inc

These guys were more expensive than the other estimates I received, but the owner acted like he would get right to work though so I went with metro. After a week and a half of the owner b.s’ing me and ignoring me about setting up a set day and time to do the sod I was ready to go with a different company. When out of nowhere I got a text while I was at work that they were headed over right this second to lay the sod, no heads up at all. I got home and was not impressed with the work they did, and to top it off they left two strips on the end of my yard bare with no sod. I text the owner and he told me they would come back and finish that following Monday because they were out of sod. Come Monday they never showed up and the owner wouldn’t answer my calls and messages. The following day while I was at work again he text me out of random and said they were coming back to sod and text me a price (higher than bid) that I supposedly owed them. He tried to tell me the two huge strips they left bare on my yard were not included in the bid. Finally he agreed to accept the original amount we agreed upon and I was supposed to leave a check under my door mat while I was gone the next day and we would leave a receipt. He never left my receipt (I have a camera pointed right at it) so I text him and he said a receipt would be emailed to me. I never did receive the email. I’m just glad to be done with this clown. Call Nebraska sod instead, they were cheaper bid and seemed more professional, just couldn’t fit my tough deadline at the time
