It seems that everything is working as expected will not know if our heating and cooling bills will go down but we hope so. The new system is quieter and seems to run a little less, we will know more in time

Kevin was honest. He told us what needed to be replaced and, as important, what did not. He arrived as he said he would on Monday morning to replace our heat pump, and we had air conditioning.

My furnace and heat pump went out on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Capitol Heating & Air installed both several years ago and I've been a customer of theirs for probably over 40 years. I called and it was going to be double to send a service person out over the weekend. Since the weather wasn't too bad, I said I would wait until Monday. On Sunday, I talked to a technician to see if there was anything I could try, he was very nice and suggested turning off the power to the furnace. He also said someone would call me Monday. Shutting off the power and turning it back on did not work.

I waited until about 10:30 Monday morning for someone to call and when no one did, I called Capitol. I was told that it would be the following week before anyone could come out. I said, "I have to go without heat for over a week?!" And she said yes. This was the week of Thanksgiving and not only was it supposed to get very cold, but I would be home for five days. I said I would find someone else.

I made a few calls and looked at ratings on Angie's List. One of the places I called was Climatech. He asked if I was without heat and when I said yes, he said he would be out mid-afternoon. He called before he came so I could leave work and meet him at my house. He was there when I arrived home. He was knowledgeable, considerate, professional and explained what he was doing and what happened. He was also less expensive that Capitol's regular prices.

I was very impressed and will definitely use Climatech again should the need arise and will use that company for my regular maintenance rather than Capitol. I would highly recommend this company. I can't say enough good things about them. It was so nice to hear the heat pump and furnace running again and I was to have heat again, especially with Thanksgiving coming up.

We picked Climatech because it was rated high on Angie's List and we didn't know who to call.
It was 4:30 on a Friday, and we were going into a 3 day weekend, so we weren't sure if we would get anyone to show up.
Kevin arrived at our house less than 30 minutes after we called. He had the part needed for our air conditioner, and he had it fixed and running in about 15 minutes!

Another company quoted us a price of between 500 and 600 to replace just the circuit board on our variable speed furnace blower.  They were also going to have to order it from Texas.  Kevin had the part on hand but it turned out the blower unit itself also needed to be replaced.  He converted our variable speed blower to a single speed blower (much less expensive) and charged us $530 for the whole thing.  He was easy to get a hold of and great to work with.

I was very impressed.  I had another company out a few months ago because I didn't think my heat pump was running right and they found nothing, but didn't hesitate to charge me! Kevin looked at it and immediately saw the problem and fixed it. I wished I had called him the first time.

We called Kevin, he went there, fixed the issue that day, and we were done.  Excellent.  We use him always for our heating/ac work on several properties.

Everything was great. He had the best estimate and great advice. He also will service 2 furnaces and a/c's in a duplex on a yearly basis with the best price.

I was pleased with the whole thing, I don't have a lot to say about furnaces and air conditioners.  They were old , I needed new ones.  He was recommended by the realtor that helped me find this house.  She had worked with him before and found that his work was done well and reasonably.  Not a big company, small but efficient.  I never had a face-to-face with  the man. 
We made all the arrangements over the phone.   My son met him at the house. 

It is a small business. He has a shop and an office in one portion of his house. I have not received the bill from him yet. I like the guy and his work. He does good work. He has kept an air conditioner in my rental property running. It is the original air conditioner from 1974. He is honest about what the problem is and what needs to be done. He has a good recommendation on how to solve the problem. However, he is not timely. I do not like that about him. If I call him and ask him to come on Tuesday, he will agree for the day. However, on Tuesday he will reschedule it to the next day. I guess he is busy. He has a lot of commercial operation. I will use his services in the future because he does good work.
