+ -1 moreOn March 24, 2014 we realized the concrete floor he poured in December 2013 already has an 11-foot long crack. When water is on the floor - it runs towards the garage walls instead of out the door as it was supposed to be sloped. We contracted the contractor today - and Shawn Loos requested we never contact him again. We have also filed a complaint with the Nebraska Attorney General's office. Someone put a report on ripoffreport.com about our job and it was not us the homeowners. Shawn accused us of this. Shawn has now accused a former employee of putting the report on ripoffreport.com. May 2014 We are still having problems with this contractor. The gutters are leaking all over the place, and we had to struggle to find out who did the gutter work. The sub-contractor that did the gutter work is trying to fix their mess. Contractor refuses to do anything with the concrete floor.
Description of Work: Loos Construction Inc, Raymond, NE was hired to do a garage addition. Contractor was adding 3 new walls, a new foundation with floor, and roof tied into an existing roof on a house originally built in 1959. Contractor was given challenge of making the roof line match our existing house. We also had electrical work done. Contractor took 3 months to add on to an existing garage. Original contract price was about $30,000.00, and we did sign a change order that should have covered items in main contract. Final billing was 50% above original contract price. We asked for price details along the way and the contractor was always to busy to provide us with information. Job was paid for fully around March 4, 2014.
