COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Omaha

I regret hiring COIT for rug cleaning; it was incredibly frustrating. Their "100% satisfaction guarantee" proved hollow. We paid $250 for a service that left our rug looking and smelling nearly as bad as before—just a rinse off, really. When we expressed dissatisfaction, we were promised a manager would call back after vacation, which never happened. After several calls, a tech came but simply applied a deodorizer instead of resolving the issue. Our attempts to reach them led to unanswered calls and unreturned messages. Every time we got a rep, the manager was unavailable, and they insisted on trying to clean our rug again. It's illogical to expect goodwill after such poor service—would anyone return to a poorly rated restaurant? Ultimately, we felt cheated and disappointed. I can't recommend COIT. Save your money and frustration by choosing a company that values its customers. The manager still hasn’t returned our call. Enjoy our $250, COIT. We'll clearly never see it again.

BAD BUSINESS - showed up with unhappy tech, old equipment and significantly damaged base board in entry, damaged carpet, splattered chemicals from tile being cleaned 2-3 feet away into adjacent rooms, and killed grass in front lawn from leaking equipment - NEVER took responsibility, NEVER honored 100% satisfaction guarantee - BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Giving this company a great review. Contacted them via their website and someone actually contacted me that afternoon (can't tell u how many time I've done that and heard from no one). Easy to schedule; Pricing was very reasonable; Technician called prior to him showing up to verify the time he would be arriving; Arrived on time; Did a quick walk through, identified problem areas; Vacuumed the rooms he was going to clean; Cleaned all requested areas; Asked us to check to ensure we were satisfied with the job (we were) and he was on his way. Then we received a follow-up call to verify all went well and that we were happy with the service. (it did and we were).

They came out the same day I called and cleaned the carpet in three rooms. They took the area rugs, cleaned them and brought them back on Monday.

They were very responsive when I called, gave me an idea of the cost over the phone and were available to do the cleaning on the date I wanted. Came on time - called first - worked on the room and steps I wanted cleaned. Left the carpet clean and smelling wonderful.

I was happy with the cost for all the services provided. Getting the carpets done was an all day event so plan accordingly. It's also surprisingly loud so a day out is a good idea too. We had the ducts done the week after the carpets and it didn't take as long as we'd been told to expect. As an extra advantage, Coit was able to get our rugs cleaned and back to us sooner than they'd originally thought so that we could accommodate weekend guests.

Terry showed up on time. He explained the process; pictures before and after, a hole is cut into the side panel of the furnace and a plate is put in its place when done. All vents not vacuumed at the time are covered and taped to prevent dust from going in different directions. It took approx 3-4 hours for the size of the home. The outcome was excellent. No residual dust or dirt found in the home. We are breathing easier in this residence, and moving forward, I would assess any home for air duct cleaning prior to purchasing.

I was very impressed with my initial phone call to Coit. I spoke with Peggy, and she began explaining how Coit operates; utilizing a truck mounted system with hot water extraction, the temperature of the water, time involved etc. She said they would vacuum the entire cleaning area first, then pre-treat any problems areas. She was very knowledgeable and forth coming. When she found out we were moving from another state, she gave me some the highlights to see in the area. Terry came to the house, on time. He protected the wood floor entrance with a large rug, without being asked. He reviewed each room quickly and went to work vacuuming then pre-treating a few areas. Terry was also friendly and knowledgeable, answering all my questions on the pros/cons of the different types of carpet he was cleaning. He took every bit of the 4 hours quoted. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. The carpets looked great, and felt great. Come to find out the scotchguard really works, by cleaning up after a pet with Dawn and water, it literally wiped up without a stain.I have not hired carpet cleaning in a while. I only got 2 quotes. I felt I paid a fair price for the size of the job. I was very happy with the entire process and outcome, and that is worth a lot to me.

Very pleased with carpet cleaning! Looks and smells wonderful! After some confusion about pricing, talked with the owner, and he was very concerned about making certain we were satisfied. The technician was very courteous and did a great job.

The original quote was for $540.00 dollars. After speaking with the office manager we were able to agree upon $375.00 plus tax. That was a great start. She was very professional and courteous during the entire conversation. The technician showed up right on time, he explained the entire process and then got right to work. He did an excellent job, even left the drying fans overnight. He also stated that if we were not satisfied with the results that he would redo the problem spots when he came back to pick up the fans. There was a trouble spot in our bedroom which he redid the next morning. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely use their services again.

The workers showed up on time and kept us informed every step of the way. This was important because the nature of the damage, with water wicking through carpet and up walls, made the damage reveal itself over time. They were very careful with our furniture and other possessions. Because a worker was calling in to the owner with updates so that the costs could be reevaluated, we had some confusion over how the work was being billed (per job vs. per hour) and the owner straightened out the problem immediately. The work took a few days and was checked frequently (completely at our convenience) to determine drying progress. At the end of the job, the owner (Mike) came to check on all work, summarize the problems, make recommendations on how to remediate damage, answer any questions we had, and be sure we were satisfied. They were responsive to concerns and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. It was important to them that we were referred by Angie's list, and the owner wanted to be certain that we were entirely satisfied.

They were late, but cleaned our basement for free in return. I had to drive a moving truck to another city, so I was not available to inspect the services, but the new occupants were satisfied.

This company provides top notch service. They were very professional in handling my problem. If you have any kind of cleanup that needs to be done, I would highly recommend that you use them. They were fast and efficient.

The person they sent just wasn't very good. They were here all day and didn't even clean all the ducts and vents. According to the a salesmans they fired the guy. I certainly don't notice a change in air quality.

They have good specials so I recommend getting them when they have one going on. They are pretty reliable.

They were very competent and they even brought a light that showed stains that we couldn’t see. They took their time and did an excellent job. They were here pretty much on time and they stayed with it until the job was done. Their professionalism was downright good.
