The entire experience went so smooth! Steve was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was up front and honest about the repairs that needed to be done. His crew was on time and finished the job quickly. When they left I could hardly tell they dug holes in my yard!

It went excellent. This isn’t a repair anyone is ever excited about having to do, but Steve was by far the best of all the “experts” I had come to give me quotes. He took so much time out of his day to talk to me on multiple occasions to explain the work and why he was suggesting what he was. I felt respected when talking to Steve. It was a learning experience but someone I would recommend a million times over. I wish more people were like Steve.

The job of installing a sump pump is an exhausting and dirty job, however, the crew kept the area as clean as possible. They were fast but professional. We’ve had the pump for almost five years and luckily we’ve had no flooding problems. We check it out every year and it still works flawlessly. Thank you Steve.

From the initial estimate to completing the job, Quality Foundation Repair was great to work with. Great communication, very professional, careful to protect my belongings, and cleaned up when they were done. Highly recommend!

Installed 15 piers. Excavated around the eastern side of house all the way down to the foundation, installed the brackets, did the lift. In addition, they installed a membrane around the basement walls while they were exposed to help prevent water leakage. They verified that all the cracks and gaps were closed as much as possible, and filled in whatever cracks remained with either caulk (for the smaller ones) or mortar for the couple of places where the cinder block had broken so it didn't close completely with the lift. Steve kept me updated on what was being done throughout the process, and his site boss and team were outstanding. It took them 6 days to get it all done, during one of the hottest weeks in recent history (95-106 degrees F). They even added a wall anchor after determining that the wall with most of the cracking was slightly bowed after the lift was completed. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

They did not actually have to do any work. They provided a possible solution to the problem that I could do myself and it worked. I really respect their professionalism and honesty in not taking advantage of a situation. It makes me trust them more.

Others wanted to charge $10,000+ to dig a mote around the entire basement to fix a very small leak.  They fixed the area at the leak, were super fast, clean, and inexpensive....hasn't been an issue since.

Overall, we are satisfied with the service.  We appreciated Steve's knowledge about our problem and straightforward style.  Quality of work was very good and workers were professional.  It's too soon after the service to determine if it has solved our water issues.  A crew finished the job in 8 hours.  The crew was friendly and responsive in answering our questions.  Basement areas outside of work area were covered in plastic so that they didn't get dusty.
Regarding punctuality, Steve was about 30 minutes late for estimate (but did call to let us know he was running late), and crew showed up about 5-10 minutes after the 30 minute window given for expected arrival.  Not a big deal, but a little disappointing.

Response from Quality Foundation Repair
"Sorry about being late for arrival we try our best to be punctual unloading and loading from previous day can put us a bit behind. Keep dry. Steve"

The soil pulled from the crawl space was used to build up around the one side of the house. They secured the old window wells while building up the outside of the house. They were very good at explaining each day's plans and the rationale for each step of the process.

Work was done professionally, quickly, and as quoted.
My renters said the gentlemen working were very
nice and didn't mind the family being in the house,
or asking questions about something that should
(or shouldn't) be done.

I have used this company on 2 different projects.  Both were single family homes with basements that had major water intrusion issues.  The owner, Steve, is very knowledgeable and professional, with a lot of experience in this space despite being a fairly new company.  The first project was to install the perimeter system in an unfinished basement of a split level home which would get significant water intrusion every time there was a heavy rain.
The process involved jack-hammering out and removing the existing concrete foundation from the perimeter wall to about 1 foot away from the wall, all the way around the entire basement.  Then there was perforated PVC drain tile installed along with gravel to assist with drainage and allowing the water to channel over to a sump pump, where it would then be pumped out of the house through a PVC pipe extending away from the house.  After the drain tile and gravel were installed, new concrete was then poured to replace what was removed.  This process took about a day and a half to complete, and has worked great for the past several months.
The next project involved the same thing, but was at a home close to the water by Lake Manawa.  This home has had some really bad water problems in the basement during rains.  Steve completed the same process as above on this home.  About a month went by, and the tenant at this home called me to let me know that the basement had some water in it. So I contacted Steve to inform him of the issue (which was caused primarily by improper grading at the home and a really high water table).  He and his workers were back over to this house within 2 days and installed an additional 80 feet of drain tile in the foundation to help alleviate the pressure and seepage issues.  He did all of the extra work for no additional charge and completed it 2 days after I let him know about the issue.
I could not be happier with the service I have received from Quality Foundation Repair.  I will absolutely use them again in the future and have recommended them to multiple people.

Upon inspection of both the interior and exterior, Steve indicated that there were things we could do (and he outlined specific solutions :) to fix the problem but that he didn't think his services would be the best option.  I appreciated his honesty, sense of humor, and willingness to offer solutions that didn't even involve his services - a sign of true professional in my opinion.
I give Quality Foundation Repair a B only because services were not rendered and thus I can't speak to the actual quality of work.

The employee came right on time, and when looking at the back of my house, quickly and politely told me how to fix the problem myself with landscaping.  Didnt try to sell me on any services, and was not out for my money.  I appreciate that greatly.

He was very good and very knowledgable. He let me know that there was nothing that he could do for my floor. I liked that he was honest with me and didn't charge me for coming out.  Most places will try and come out and do pointless work just to get money so I appreciate that he did not do that to me.
