We were selling our house. He went through the house with us, and we showed him what we wanted done. He has worked with realtors before, and he gave us suggestions on what needed to be done. He went through, and he did all the work. He cleaned up his mess. He did everything he was supposed to do.

Pat is extremely personable and easy to have around, and his pricing is fair. That said, the finished results are disappointing. When we first met with him, I asked him whether he did painting, and he said that he did. Now, I wish he'd just said no. The "construction" and plumbing elements went well. However, the finished quality of the painting, caulking, etc. is extremely poor. Apparently he didn't tape off the ceiling when he was painting the wall, as there is no straight, clean line between them. I asked him to use paint in the bathrooms that was scrubbable, but the paint comes off on the cloth. Where he stripped the wallpaper, the walls are dinged and bumpy. I asked him to go back and fix places several times, and he was quite accommodating, but without asking him to go back and start over, the walls still look terrible. Based on our experience, I would recommend Pat for the construction portions of a project for a homeowner who plans to do the finish work him/herself.
