Doug was not not the lowest offer we received. We chose him because it was clear that he would do the work personally and that he had a high degree of pride in his work. He was very honest in terms of what were the options and how much they would cost. He kept dust to a minimum and completed the project on time. We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend him to friends.

The reason I joined Angie's List was to locate a reputable hardwood floor re-finisher. One reason I chose Doug LeClair was that he was available a little sooner than the others I called. His communication with me was prompt and open. He showed up when he said he would and kept at it three days in a row until the job was done. He was very knowledgeable about wood floors and the processes involved in re-finishing one. Even the cautions he gave us about floor care and how to avoid damaging it were quite valuable. He even gave us a device and supplies for floor care. The bottom line is the quality of the work. It was excellent. We're very pleased.

Projects performed as planned with excellent attention to detail. Dust was kept to a minimum. Cleanup was exceptional - never left any mess.
