I told them I was not looking for a repair to the roof because it was fairly new, but I wanted to close the opening on the vent through the attic, and they just said they didn't do that. The HVAC people spent more time than they did. They didn't do anything. I had already told them there was nothing to inspect. It would have been good, if they would have told me that there was an extra charge to do it, but they didn't do it. They were pretty quick to respond, and they came in.

It turned out fine. They were nice. They came along through what they found with it after the service. They seem to do a fine job. There were no issues since the service. They were supposed to get back to us with some quotes regarding what the demolition team did and we haven’t seen that quote. Other than that, it was fine.

Were on time and very professional.  Came out and inspected roof and did minor repairs; nailed down a shingle that was loose and covered nail holes that had never been covered, made sure that all regular maintenance items were taken care of, example check and repaired flashing as needed.  Will definitely use again; very honest.

I was going to need more work done later and he gave an estimate of that, too.

After a hailstorm, our insurance checked our roof and denied a claim.  Cody Construction asked to inspect our roof and found damage.  The representative met our insurance adjustor at our house and showed him what they had found.  The adjustor agreed with Cody's findings and we got new shingles and gutters paid for by our insurance minus a $1100. deductible.  The work was finished in 2 days, clean-up was awesome and the quality of the work was high.

I was approached by Cody's project manager Tom one evening while working in my front yard regarding possible hail damage on my roof.  I had not  had anyone on my roof, believing there would have been no damage after discussion with next door neighbor about the outcome of his roof inspection.  Tom talked me into letting him look at the roof, without being pushy about it.  After inspection, he encouraged me to contact my insurance adjuster.  He was there when the insurance folks came and went up on the roof on my behalf.  I am convinced that it was his participation in the process that led to the adjuster granting a complete new roof replacement.  He scheduled me for the next week.  The crew came on that day and completed the roof the same day.  They did a fine job and cleaned up well after themselves.  The gutter crew came a few days later and also did a really good job.  Tom stayed involved throughout the whole process.  Also, through no fault of Cody, I had several problems with my mortgage lender with the handling of the insurance checks.  Cody's administrative person, Chris, was very patient and helpful through the two month journey we had with the lender.  Everyone I worked with at Cody Constr. was friendly and professional.  I would not hesitate using their services in the future.

I had about a dozen roofing companies come to my door.  I had many questions, but all the guys that came to my door said "I'll have to get back to you on that" and they mostly never did, and when they did they totally misunderstood my question and gave me information I never asked for.  Christine Bolan from Cody never hesitated to answer all my questions correctly the first time and the one time I stumped her she got back to me the same day and actually answered the question I asked.  She was always patient to answer all my questions even though I kept asking dozens of questions as week after week went by.  She never gave up on me.  Christine knew more about roofing than all the other guys that came to my door combined, and she was even able to offer me color and style advice when it came to the difficult task of choosing a new asphalt shingle.  When I finally did sign with them, Cody really helped me out, because I had to list my house for sale very quickly (I signed a purchase agreement on a new house without even having my old house on the market yet) and I needed the roof replaced ASAP.  Not only did they do the job when they promised, they managed to remove the whole cedar shake roof and install a brand new roof completely in just one day.  They did it for the price they promised too.  During the project, they were very careful...they totally stopped working on one section of the roof while they tried to get hold of me to tell me they found a house burglar alarm speaker wired/mounted right into the old box vent and they didn't want to assume it was OK to relocate it without asking me permission first.  I was very impressed that they waited for my permission on such a minor issue, which showed me they respected my property.  I was also happy to know that the workers on my project were all from Omaha and not from out of state.  After the day was done, I had one minor cosmetic issue with some flashing and they came back within 3 days and fixed it completely.  Christine was my project manager and she walked the roof after the job was complete and caught a minor issue that I couldn't even see from the ground.  This told me they were 100 percent honest because if I couldn't see it from the ground, they could've just ignored it and I would've never known the difference.  They even sent another in-house final inspector out (in addition to my project manager) to make sure everything was done right.  And it must've looked good because my house sold after only 3 days on the market.  
Looking back on the whole project, I can definitely say Cody followed through on everything they promised 100 percent.
