Mike is not only a nice guy but great to deal with on an ongoing basis. Met him on the initial estimate and was very knowledgeable and pleasant.  Ongoing communications have been via e-mail to which he is very responsive.  Any services need are done via e-mail and added to my monthly bill with any issues.  He is not only timely in his responses but in his services as well.  Any minor issues have been addressed and corrected with complete satisfaction, also in a timely manner.
I would not hesitate to to refer him, and have in the past.

Mike is the owner of York Lawn Care  and is wonderful to work with. I have used his services for 2 years and my yard never looked better. He does the complete package from mowing, fertilizing, seeding and aeration.  He has also installed mulch and is willing to take care of the odd bush or branch that needs to be trimmed. I highly recommend his service and wouldn't use anyone else.

I normally pride myself on doing all of my own yard work, including aerating, which requires me to rent an aerator.  This year, though, with a toddler and a new infant in the family, I realized I was going to need to hire somebody if the work was ever going to get done.  Mike York came by to take a look at my yard and listened to me talk at length about my yard and lawn care in general.  I'm often worried that professionals will withhold useful information to DIY-inclined homeowners because of the potential threat to business that we pose, but Mike answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, including those that I had about some leftover fertilizer and seed that I had in my garage.  His friendly demeanor and educational nature puts him at the top of my list for these kinds of services.

Excellent job!  Very pleasant and even offered to put down seed and fertilizer that we had previously bought but hadn't been able to get down yet.  Hired him to do weekly mowing this summer.  Would not hesitate to highly recommend.

It was a wonderful experience. He is very responsive and polite. After the power raking he cleaned up after everything and was very meticulous. He did an excellent job. I have recommended his work to many of my friends and family.  My neighbors said my yard looks better than ever!

York Lawn Care was the first guy that called me back when within the hour I was looking for lawn care several months ago. They came out that day and cut my lawn, that day! He was there until after dark cutting my lawn. My lawn had gotten really long and he worked and worked and worked. He was probably there for over three hours. He came out that day and took care of it. He bagged up my clippings. He did an excellent job. I paid him more than what he was even asking because of the great job he did. I would recommend him to anyone. He's a very hard working guy! His price is fair. There are a few things I'd like him to be a little bit more detailed on.

Mike was great, he was the first one I called and also the quickest response back, the only others I called were from also on Angie's list it took several days when I got responses back from the others and their prices were firm and much higher, so I called Mike back at York lawn care and we scheduled a time for the next day and for on going service afterwards. Needless to say because Mike's price was so much less and his eagerness and willingness to get right to work, I was a little nervous that this is probably one of those to good to be true deals, that would surely end in a disastrous disappointment. and a mutilated lawn. So I decided that Mike was worth the risk, and to my amazement I came home to a beautifully mowed yard front and back, just as promised, and I couldn't be happier with the weekly service. Finally an old school business that believes in providing a great service in a friendly and enthusiastic manner and a bargain basement price. Very friendly, punctual and professional.  Cleaned all the dirt off the sidewalk and driveway when they were done.  Gave me some free advice on lawn care.   I am very pleased and recommend them highly.

The gentleman is reasonably priced, arrives on time, and always works efficiently.  We have no problems with his services.

On the day of the blizzard - I called to see if he could stop by in a few days to do the snow removal for me.  He arranged to come that very night - after sun down - so that I could have proper accessibility.  With the heavy snowfall - the county did not get the street cleared until late the following evening.  He was still able to get through the heavy snowfall to my property.  He brought his own snow removal equipment and did a thourough job.  He even cleared an extra area into the street so that I would not get a snow barrier when the county finally plowed the street.

Mike came out when he said he would, performed the aerating, cleaned up the core plugs from the sidewalks, and then checked in with me to see if there was anything else I could use help with.  He was very personable and offered some tips for yardwork I intended to do myself.  I was very pleased and will definitely call York Lawn Care for my future lawn care needs.

I was having problems with my other lawn service and found York Lawn Care on Angies's list.  I contacted Mike and he promptly followed up.  He has been doing my yard and my Mother's for several weeks and already they are looking better. He gives each yard custom care taking into consideration hills and dips, shaded areas or stressed areas.  We will use him ongoing and also plan to use him for snow removal in the winter.

Mike York runs a great business that is focused on customer satisfaction. He is prompt, personable, and conscientious. He'll take the time to make sure your lawn looks great. Highly recommended.

 I previously had a landscaper put a fountain in my yard but the water was done in less then a day. I then asked a second one and he was able to get the water to last a little longer. I finally told myself that I was going to ask one more person and if that didn't work just turn it into a dry waterfall. Well, I then spoke with Mike York who assured me he could have it running the way it was suppose to. I was very happy working with him and found him to be a professional that stood by his word. He called me when he said he would and showed up. If he couldn't make it at the time he said, he would call. I was very happy with the final product. Mike took the time to find out what he needed to do to fix the problem and the waterfall was nicer looking. He even came out on a Sunday to get the water to flow just right. I would absolutely recommend him and will return if I need something else done.

York Landscaping is the best landscaping company in Omaha!!  We've used several companies before and had okay experiences with them.  Yet from the moment we met Mike, we knew our landscaping needs would be met.  Little did we know he'd exceed our expectations.  Mike is a true professional who strives to make every customer interaction outstanding.  The quality of his work is outstanding and our yard has never looked so good.  He was efficient, listened to all our needs, and his work is phenomenal.  We will only use York Landscaping for future projects and highly, highly recommend them for any landscaping project.

York came out and looked at the problem. He recommended a special blend of grass seed that is not blue grass but blends well with the blue grass in the rest of the yard. One of his team came out and aerated the yard and then the whole lawn was re-seeded. It is amazing how quickly this bare patch has begun to fill in! The whole back yard now looks lush and it seems to need mowing every other day. We've even had the company come out and mow a few times since sometimes our schedules don't permit mowing when the lawn really needs it. York is always "johnny on the spot" and comes that day or the next and does a great job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend
