After 6 months, water began leaking through the ceiling and running down walls, discoloring and cracking plasterboard. Over the next several months the company blamed bad weather and condensation problems and everyone but the Easter Bunny. Despite a "15-year, no leak" warrantee, they still have not acknowledged blame. Recent core samples reveal the OSB board was not fastened to the rafters, causing swelling and movement. The roofing material has formed hills and gullies and has come loose from the material underneath. Estimates run around $35,000 to remove all roofing and sheeting, redo flashing, change flue and stack vents, install new ISO board, insulation and roofing, and repair and repaint walls and ceiling.(We should have known we were in deep trouble when we had to bring it to their attention that they had placed two distinctly different colors of roofing on the house.)

Overall, it went well. After the first repair of the ceiling inside of the garage, the roof was still leaking, so they re-repaired the ceiling. The attitude about time was a little casual, but I didn't push them either, as it was summer and not raining frequently. Eventually, everything was finished as promised.

It took them 2 days and the work was excellent. They cleaned up very well and I did not see any nails on the ground. The price was great as well. It was exactly what our insurance gave us to get the work done, so that was good.

As we were outside, we noticed some shingles flapping in the wind so we called Heartland and they came right over and replaced them for us. They were very fast, neat and very professional. We are glad we found someone reliable enough to use in the future when a larger job will be necessary.

They did a great job when they put on the roof, as it looked fantastic, but they had to come back twice to fix a leak. They finally got it fixed. The repair was done under warranty, so it didn't cost us anything to get it fixed.

I was impressed with their quote so I let them do the work and they stuck with their price. They showed up on time and worked quickly to get the job done. There wasn't any garbage or debris left on the property and their quality of work on the new roofing was great. I have recommended them to my neighbors only because they did a good job.
