VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha

Dr. Sherrill is a great vet. I trust her opinion and she clearly explains all of my options, so I can make an informed choice on how to proceed with the care of my pets. What I like best about VCA is that I don't push for additional, unnecessary services just to make more money. I sense that they truly care about the pet owner and the pet and providing the best possible service. All the front desk staff are incredibly friendly as well. The available hours of service are particularly good for working professionals.

My house caught on fire on the 4th of April. Kami was passed out in the kitchen where the fire was. The fireman took her to the Humane Society van for treatment; in turn, the van took Kami to VCA. Kami ended up having 2nd degree burns on each side. The vet and assistants did a wonderful job cleaning Kami up. It has taken a while for Kami to heal she has a little hair left to grow on each side. Her mode and disposition is the same as before the fire. When I picked Kami up, the assistants remarked how Kami's tail was going and had a smile on the face. I am the one know that smiles when I look at her; no I don't wag my tail. Thank you VCA for taking care of Kami.68106

As indicated above, the outsome was not favorable for us. However, unquestionably we will continue to use this group.

They were very good. They have extended working hours and that works well. They are thorough. They have evening hours. They are friendly and professional. They give me options about what to do with my cat. The pricing is reasonable. I would give them top marks across the board.

They are very good with the animals, the veterinarian himself is excellent, and he handles my dog like it's his own. The girls working there are absolutely wonderful too, they are really gentle with my dog, and they treat the animals just like they are people.

This was our first visit to a vet at Animal Medical Center. My dog had developed a new medical condition. When the symptoms first occurred, I was able to schedule an appointment with AMC within a day. (I had never visited a vet at AMC in the past but had picked up medications there. My experience with the front desk staff was good so I decided to schedule an appointment wtih a vet for my dog's evaluation.) On the day of the visit, the front desk staff was very friendly and supportive. We were seen on time. Dr. Halsey was thorough and professional. He did not try to sell me a bunch of lab work or other testing. And, he followed up with me in a timely fashion after the visit with additional information as he stated he would at the visit.
