TOM'S CARPET SERVICE INC

 Tom and his helper were friendly and prompt.  They called to confirm the appointment before coming and work hard while they were here.  Our one disappointment was that the carpet seemed to be unusually wet and it took about three days for it to dry out. I think we'd use him again but I want to ask around a bit before desiding.

I had flooding in my daughter's bedroom.  Called Tom ane he responded immediately.  Told me what we needed to do, how long it would take and what it would cost.  He came out and performed the service over a 2-day period and did a wonderful job.

I was disappointed because they forgot to put on the metal strip from the dining room to the kitchen and they were three hours late. They were supposed to call in the morning and they didn't, and I was left hanging. I felt the company was irresponsible for sending out young kids to do this job. They didn't even call to say they'd be late. I ask them to remove a three by three foot of wood and I would pay them twenty dollars cash, but they said they wanted one hundred dollars to remove it, so I declined.
