Took our deposit & started work. After being a month beyond agreed project deadline w/ no end in sight, extremely substandard work and additional damage to our home & personal property, we terminated the project and requested the unused portion of our deposit back. The reply......"We don't have it." Found out after the fact that NONE of the subcontractors who worked on our project were paid. MY money was supposed to be used on MY project but obviously wasn't.

Had a new cedar deck built as a replacement to the original builder's special from 1992.  The resulting deck will outlive my home, I'm sure.  KJ used 6 inch posts and wider planks than the normal deck, and the accuracy is amazing in the finished product.  For the stairs, he used 48" wide treads and they are extremely solid.  These stairs will never wobble.  It took Three D what seemed like a pretty long time to finish the deck, but it was built during the heat spell we had of 100+ degree temps.  And, after seeing how sturdy and straight the deck is, I'd gladly do it all over again and wait a little extra time for the finished product.  KJ is a perfectionist and it shows in the workmanship.  Had my dad look at it (he's built homes in the past), and he said I definitely made the right choice in hiring Three D.
