 + -1 moreHe was supposed to remove the old, crappy grout in my shower and replace it. He ended up with at least 50 places where he damaged the tile. The new grout was uneven. There was a place 3" long with no grout at all! Globs of grout were all over the place. When I told him I was unhappy with all the damaged tile he said I should have read the back of the agreement which basically says that no matter what he damages, he's not responsible. We went back and forth for weeks and he refused to do anything. I finally contacted corporate headquarters. That took months of back and forth. The Grout Doctor finally said they'd pay half of having my shower retiled. I refused that offer. I'd already put out $350 for what should have made the shower like new; I wasn't putting out another dime to get the shower fixed. Finally they turned it over to their iinsurance company. The insurance company was very good to work with and ended up paying to have my shower gutted, rebuilt and retiled.
