The Pros: They were the first to contact us back, I called or emailed about 8 fencing people in the area and didn't get a return call this fall. Then I came on Angi's and Mike from Taylormade called that night and came out the very next day to bid the job. I cut a check for half the amount, they cashed it the next day, said they could start right away. The guys who came to work on the fence were eventually, were all very nice and polite. The Cons: We were told they could get the fence installed in middle Nov, didn't hear from them so I called, they said their auger was broken, so it would be Dec, I waited for 20 more days, called for an update they said sorry they didn't have the guys right now to do the job but would the week of Christmas; didn't happen. We got fence posts put in in Jan and I had to call 10 days later to ask when the rest of the fence would be put up. They came the next day after I said "a discount would go a long way to alleviating my frustration" which probably would have bumped them up a star in the end because waiting 3 months for a fence that was supposed to be done in a week or two isn't ideal. They knocked on my door for the second half of the payment before I got a chance to even inspect the fence. I found 2 tools and fence pieces in the yard, the fence is bent out of shape in one spot. I am a really simple, very easy-going person, not an ax-grinding review writer but since I decided to use them based on their reviews, I feel like I should. I didn't mind waiting for the fence but I wish I was called with updates, instead of continuously initiating communication. Tools break, trucks break down, people get covid, all of that is understandable but I feel like my business wasn't valued and I had to be a raging 'Karen' to get my fence installed and I suspect if I hadn't called or eventually asked for a discount (I still paid the full amount) I still might not have a fence.
