I originally called McCarthy's One Hour to come perform the service (see my other review for them).  The price I was quoted by McCarthy's One Hour to replace the condenser fan motor was off the charts.  I had a friend of mine on the phone while the first tech was here and he had the exact same part recently replaced and told me I could have the job done for significantly less.  I called Southwest Mechanical on a Saturday afternoon and they had an answering service that took the call and got my information.  Tom from Southwest called me back within minutes and I explained what I needed to have done.  He didn't have the part on hand, but said he would find it on Sunday for me and call me Sunday morning.  Tom called me Sunday morning just like he said and informed me that he was having some difficulty getting his hands on the right part, but had a couple of other places to check.  I received a follow up call about 30 minutes later while we were still at church and he said he found the part and wanted to know what time we would be home and when would be convenient for the tech to come do the repair.  I forgot to mention when we originally spoke I asked him what the cost to replace the condenser fan motor would be and he said $425 (this is literally half the price that I was quoted for the same repair by McCarthy One Hour).  So, the tech comes and says it will take 30-60 minutes to complete.  He's done in 30.  We fire up the A/C and it's blowing cold air on a 95 degree day (woo-hoo).
These guys were very professional and communicated with me during the entire process of trying to find the right motor for our A/C.  I would strongly encourage using this company!
