We were able to schedule in one day. Scott arrived early, was here a little over two hours, and fixed everything that we asked. We had to call him back to replace a cracked nut after icemaker repair, as water was leaking. He came back promptly. He also tested our water pressure. which we had not asked him to do. Scott was easy to work with and very efficient. We will use them again.

I have two sewer stacks. They advised they only needed to smoke one and it would find the problem if it was sewer related. They did not find anything so I moved on looking for different solutions to my problem. Several thousand dollars later, it turns out it was a sewer leak and smoking the other vent stack located our issue. We asked them to smoke it and they declined and then once we did locate the problem, we asked for our money back as they failed to do their job and they declined.

He was very fair priced. He was very honest and did an excellant job. I was very satified with the work. He also cleaned after himself and put plastic sheeting to ensure my house was safe.

It went really well.  We live in a 60-year old home, and this sink was one that I found at a thrift store, believe it or not, for $19.98.  It was brand new, and my husband said it was a top of the line name brand.  I was so happy after taking measurements that everything would fit.  Our old ceramic sink really became sort of nasty looking, no matter how much Comic I used, plus the faucet was leaking.  I also know I could have had the ceramic sink refinished, but finding this sink the way I did, felt like an omen of sorts.  The sink actually had a new facet and side hose already attached, and I know those alone are very expensive, so I got a heck of a deal.  What's nice is I have never had a dishwasher after 35 years of marriage, and now I at least have a hose to help rinse dishes off, and it is located close to my Keurig coffee maker on the counter that now all I have to do is use my hose to fill the reservoir rather than keep a measuring cup nearby. 
The plumber showed up on time and did end up having to leave for parts a couple of time (for which this time was not charged for), and he did a great job.  Southside Plumbing honored my Angie's List coupon, which helped with the cost, as well.  The plumber also suggested putting in shut-off valves under my kitchen sink for a very minimal cost, which is nice because now if we have sink problems, we won't have to go to the basement and shut all the water off. 
Kudos to Louise, the plumber, who went out of his way to not only get the sink put in and working, but everything was spotless when he left.  Thanks Southside Plumbing!

They took care of everything, ordering water heater that matched what we had; punctual, clean up area and expedient in their work.

I setup an afternoon appointment and was told that they would call me before they came. I received a call at 1030 A.M. From Mike saying he was in my driveway waiting for me. I then had to rush out of work so I could meet with him. When I arrived he took a look and let me know that he did not have the needed equipment to install the faucet and would need to go back to the office, he finally came back about an hour and 45 min later and was finally able to get started on the install. The install itself only took an hour, at first glance everything looked ok. Once he left I noticed the faucet outside was installed at a slight angle and that he failed to cleanup all of his mess. When I called and made the appointment the lady asked me if I wanted them to come out and do the install or if I wanted them to bid the job first. I asked her what their hourly rate was and she said $95. I told her to just have them come out since I knew it would not take much more than an hour to do the install since they could run the line straight from the utility room. Since the Job was completed within an hour I was shocked to see a bill for $250.00, when I questioned him on it he informed me that he was giving me a break since the job was bid at $280. I then informed him that the job was never bided on and that I was suppose to just pay labor and parts cost, he then quickly rambled off a bunch of prices and told me it came out pretty much the same and that he was already doing me a favor by only charging me $250. I was in no mood to get into a confrontation so I just went ahead and paid him. Besides the faucet being installed at a slight angle, the quality of the work looks ok. Mike was a nice enough guy but overall this was a very unpleasant experience and I will not do business with this company in the future.

They were recommended to me by somebody. They did major plumbing work for me. They had great prices and great workers. They went out of their way to clean up and make everything great before they left. They were fantastic. I had received other bids and their price was the lowest. Their price was $1,000 lesser than the others. 

Same day service, super fast repair. Incredibly friendly, positive & knowledgeable plumber.... call Southside and ask for Bill!

Had someone come out to look over existing plumbing and give estimate as to what it would require to fix prior to buying home. Once closed on house called back, and no one could remember what needed to be done. Different plumbers sent out and did ok job. There were several other issues that came up once initial repairs completed. I wanted them to say what the issue was and what they would recommend. Basically i was told what the problem was but he would beat around the bush about how to fix it. Ended up not even getting estimate on work. When i called the office i never spoke to anyone friendly or polite. The plumbers themselves were not professional in the least, and one was talking about renting home to "immigrants."

A plumber came and looked over the various jobs I needed and gave me a ballpark quote. He did say, however, that he wanted the owner (Ron) to come out and look it over too so I could be sure to get a correct bid. After Ron followed up within a couple days, I received a bid in the mail within a week and set up the date for the service. The company used subcontractors for the trench work but they were punctual and polite. I thought they would have to tear out the sidewalk but they managed to get a lot of pipe into a very small hole. They cleaned up before they left. $3200 is a lot of money, but considering some other bids ran in the $8000 range, I think it was a pretty darn good deal. Also, the clerks at the office were always very polite and helpful regarding billing and so forth.

I liked that they were very quick about returning phone calls, and that they were able to come to the house within a few days to do the job. They worked very hard and everything looks wonderful. I think what I liked best was that when they make a bid they stick to it. They are not like a lot of companies that try to add in extra charges. With them, you get the work done as promised.

Southside Plumbing is a very professional and courteous company. The gentlemen who owns the company lives down the street a couple of blocks from me. He was very prompt and knowledgeable about his work. I had no cleanup when he finished. I was very happy with the work he did for me.

I was absolutely happy with their work and they did a great job getting my toilet to stop running. I couldn't get it to stop myself, but I did have the old spigot outside taken off so it would be ready for the new one to be easily installed. The guy was helpful and friendly and I was happy with the work he did.
