AC UNIT REPLACEMENT on 8 Aug 2025 - the PEOPLE (technicians, sales rep, installers) from Service One that I interacted with were great individuals. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and professionally explained to me what they were seeing as it pertained to my AC system's performance. Due to the triple digits temps and family coming in 2 days, I was not able to truly do any competitive shopping and ended up paying TWICE as much for what I got - after the install I was able to do some competitive shopping and found out I paid TWICE as much purchasing from Service1 as I could have from 3 other competitors. Service One's price guarantee is IMPOSSIBLE for competitors to match exactly, thus they have no fear of every having to honor that "Apples-to-Apples Guarantee". I'm not an AC technician, but I believe there are just as effective Daikin makes/models available from competitors at HALF the cost that would have met our cooling needs - shop around before purchasing from Service One.

First off, the staff is friendly and courteous giving them two stars. However, I am extremely disappointed with my experience using ServiceOne and their home warranty. My furnace and AC went out and I replaced both. Before install, the salesman texted me to change the install date to a day later. I called their office to confirm and they had no record of any change and showed up on the original date after we changed plans. Next, the new AC unit was not working and a tech came out to tell us the filter was clogged after less than two weeks and that was the issue. The AC still did not work and a different tech found an o-ring that was failing and replaced it. I then contacted the office to have them explain my invoice and asked for an itemized receipt detailing parts and labor, which they said they do not provide, as I was only credited $570 per my home warranty (other incentives were applied but they were explained to me as separate from the home warranty). Over the last three weeks, I have gone back and forth trying to get a clear explanation of my bill and why I did not receive more for having a home warranty. ServiceOne had no record of there even being an issue with my AC. It took all the way up to the co-owner of the company to properly explain my invoice. I was explained that a $1000 R-22 replacement incentive was applied instead of any credits from my home warranty for the AC replacement. However others I know received this same incentive through different companies without a home warranty. I do not think Service One was trying to take advantage of me but the entire process has been smoking and mirrors with nobody being able to provide accurate answers related to my invoice and home warranty credits. A simple itemized receipt or clear explanation from the beginning could have saved countless hours of my time and a poor review. Overall I do not think I received the value I was entitled to for having a home warranty with Service One and other unrelated incentives were used to justify it.

sometimes the service was okay but I feel that they were constantly misinforming me and when I switch to something and I ask for a certain type of coverage they said they gave it to me they did not they lied to their teeth so I went to someone who I pay a LOWER monthly fee to and they don't charge me for the maintenance where Service One charges over $70 each time

The initial discussion & follow up with the phone rep answered my questions and concerns. By some luck they were able to come the next morning. Ended up not able to do camera inspection but a friendly and informed review of the options and terms helped with my decision. Once equipment arrived they worked efficiently and relentlessly until the day long job was complete. The final cost was reasonable - actually lower than first feared it might be. Am very satisfied with the outcome and will certainly keep their versatile service in mind for any future needs.

David, the sales consultant was prompt, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in assuring our project was priced fairly and the work performed to our satisfaction, prior to final payment. The company's contractors inspected our project and discussed in detail the possibilities, pro and con, and guided us on our decision. I had them come out the first time, because I was in a hurry and they did respond quickly. They charged more than I thought they should for the first visit. They said that I needed more work, and gave me a that was also very high, and said that it could take even more work and be even more money, but wouldn;t know how much until they started working. I was still on a dead line, and was having trouble finding someone else to look at the job, so I contacted them again, and asked them when they could come out and do the work. Dave said that he would check and see. He contacted me the next day, and said that they were to busy to it at all.

They quoted a price that seemed reasonable. They said it would take 6 to 8 hours it only took 5 and that was because they had to replace something they broke. The point being the labor rate I still paid the quoted price but it took less time. The cost of PBC pipe plus extra supplies probably was around $100 so it was about $100 an hour labor next time I'll get a quote labor and parts.
