Superb service.  John, the supervisor, was on site at the end of every day to inspect work done.  He maintained constant contact with us to let us know about any possible delays.  A schedule was provided for each day that was followed. Never a mess at the end of the day.  Change orders were easily accomplished without any problems.  Great ideas and suggestions from Todd Sanwick, the owner, about our project.
We now have a dream spa shower with towel warmer that is everything that we wanted. Because of their superior work, we went ahead and had them replace outside windows on our garage and dormer windows that several other contractors either didn't want to do or had extremely high quotes.  Sanwick had the windows made at Omaha Door and Window at a very reasonable price.  We then had Sanwick fix our block retaining wall that was starting to suffer upheavals. Very professionally done and looks great.
We would trust these folks with anything!

We were very pleased with the work done by Sanwick!

Our house is 90 years old and we had been slowly remodeling it over the last 10 years.  The last two big things to do were the kitchen (a complete gut job) and adding a second bathroom.  We also needed a few new windows, including one in a basement room where we wanted the window made larger.

We originally got three estimates for the work we needed done; Sanwick's was in the middle (not the cheapest) but we chose them because Todd Sanwick spent the most time with us on the estimate, had the best suggestions and alternatives, and gave us the most complete write-up.  Also, their reviews on Angie's List were very positive, and we had a friend that made a personal recommendation.

They started work in early February, gutting the kitchen back to the studs and removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room.  Also tearing into the concrete floor of the basement to lay the plumbing for the new bathroom.

As with any project in a 90-year-old house, there were a few bumps along the way (some minor structural issues; problems with old electrical wiring, a couple of plumbing issues, etc.).  The Sanwick folks were careful to explain everything when we ran into problems and to give us alternatives for addressing them.

John, the superintendent for our work, was always available when we had questions and worked hard to be sure things were happening as quickly as possible.  The original time estimates we were given were 8-12 weeks, and the job was finished in about 9 weeks.  The budget did expand somewhat from the original estimate; but it was due entirely to unexpected issues that popped up or to additional items that we requested.  The original estimate was about $62,000, the final total was about $70,000 (the windows were not a part of the original estimate; they were a big chunk of the additional cost and were something we requested after the start of the project).

As for the quality of the work - we couldn't be more pleased!  The new kitchen is beautiful and considerably more functional than the old one.  The new bathroom in the basement is actually nicer than the one on the main floor!  Sanwick has a great set of subcontractors they work with - we especially love the beautiful custom cabinets for the kitchen (done by T & T Custom Cabinets), and the really nice tile work in the new bathroom.

We are extremely happy with the results, and would not hesitate to use Sanwick again.  We highly recommend them!
