REGENCY HARDWOOD FLOORS

After getting several bids for repair of the hardwood floors in my home, I decided on Regency Hardwood Floors, a husband and wife team, to refurbish the hardwood floors in my living room, dining room, and three bedrooms. Their quote was 1/3 - 1/2 of the price of the other quotes. Why? Their honest that they thought that the floors in the bedrooms didn't need sanded, just needed urethane finish. (They did sand and stained the livingroom and hallway floors.) They were prompt, had the work done when they said they would. The floors look GREAT! However, a couple of my walls did not. Unfortunately, my walls had just been professionally painted and there were quite a few areas (one rather large) that the stain splattered on the walls. Therefore, I had to re-hire the painter to come back out. Painter was quite upset with flooring people. I, however, would hire them again as they saved me thousands of dollars and the floors really do look wonderful.

I've used this mom and pop business once before to install an oak floor in the dining room in addition to this most recent project and they do a great job at a great price and they came when they said they would. He even helped me do some deck staining for free because he saw me struggling to do it with a small brush. The floors look great. I would recommend to anyone having any wood floors worked on that you tape off yourself the carpeted areas that adjoin the wood floors that are being worked on to make sure the tape goes down and stays down better to prevent clear coat from oozing into your carpet.
