Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge of La Vista

Performance Chrysler is mostly where we go.  We go back to the dealer typically for auto work.  They do excellent work.  They do very good work overall, we're very happy with them, but for some reason on the last visit, they just mucked it.  It took way too long, they didn't fix it right the first time; it took them way too long.  I would say overall I would give them a very good grade, but on this particular instance I would not.  This was the first time we've ever had a bad experience with them.  I don't know if they've got a new tech in there or what the situation. I think there was some - and this may have been part of the buyout deal - there was some handshake they had to do between the local repair shop here in Bellevue.  And I guess they had to go up an echelon to talk about the actual diagnosis and repair, and that took an extraordinate amount of time, so what should have been a one day drop-off, come home, pick it up on the way home, turned into a four day deal.  They gave us a loaner and the things you're supposed to do, so I can't kick about that.  It's just that it took way longer than it had to. They fixed it for free; it was a brand new vehicle and it was all under warranty. It was the turnaround that really was wrong.  It was fixed right, but the punctuality in terms of getting it in and out within a reasonable amount of time - they missed that one.

I go to the jeep dealership because we have jeeps for auto repair or auto services. The name of the dealership is Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge of La Vista. The last time I used them was about 3 or 4 months ago. If I remember correctly I had some recall stuff done. There was a recall and I had dealt with that. I got some regular stuff done too. I had a bunch of different things done, I don't remember actually. They actually do a pretty good job. They have always done pretty good with me. They are not always that punctual. There are probably cheaper places to go.

Horrible experience that I'll never forget.
High pressure sales tactics from entire staff, from salesman to sales manager and even including after market sales. I ended up making a decision that I immediately regretted.

This was not my first car purchase so I thought I was prepared to deal with a sales pitch. I highly recommend you find another lot with different owners. There are a lot of cars for sale out there and I'm sure you can find one you like somewhere else.

Maybe these tactics are legal. I just know that I still have a dreadful feeling every time I drive by this lot and I hope this might have saved even one more person from that experience.

Very responsive to my particular directions. Provided me a courtesy car as I had to make another appointment and they needed extra time. Van was very clean and tough spots were gone.

I would not recommend going to this company. I bought my 04 jeep grand cherokee in 07 at the time the advertised price at any dealership with about 35K was $14500 all of theirs were almost $3k more the only way I got mine for that price it had about 6k more miles on it. I got the 2 year service contract where they changed my oil for no cost. However every time I took the jeep in for a no cost oil change they came back with a suggested maintenance list of over $1000. After about the 4th time I was upset because I had fixed 1/2 of what they had recommended and they still came back with new stuff on the list to make it that price again. I stopped taking it there for those oil changes and never had any issues after that. Until my front seat bracket broke making the car unsafe to drive. It took them more than 2 months to get the part in which time I had to rent a car long term that cost me $1000 the part and install was the same price so the seat cost $2000 between the rental and the parts and labor. I asked them to help a little with either the rental or their own labor since it took them so long to get the part but they would not even talk to me about it. When I got my new truck from carmax with an extended warranty I described that issue and they looked into it and will cover that for me if something like that are to happen with this car. I've bought another chrysler product and may be forced to go their if something goes wrong as they are the closest to my house but I will avoid it at all cost if I can.

I brought my Jeep in for the issue above and it took them awhile to figure out the problem with it. They were unable to replicate the issue for awhile but finally found out there was a short. A part had to be ordered so I had to bring the Jeep in several times before it was fixed. One time I had to pay for a rental car because I had to pick my daughter up from day care adn needed a car. It was a pain to have to move the car seat to the rental car but the rental company did come out and bring me the rental. Once the problem was identified, the part order and fixed I have had no further issues with the locks. They did have to keep the Jeep a full day to identify the problem and most of the day to fix the problem once the part was in.

I have a two year contract with them. They are nearby to my place and it's modern. They have a lot of friendly people with the same eagerness to serve me.

Their price was better than a non-dealership. They do an excellent job.
