I believe it was Don who came out to inspect.  He was nice and seemed knowledgeable.  We decided to go with them again, as they had done work for us before. However, they use subcontractors and Omaha Gutter doesn't stand behind their work in a timely matter.  We have a leaking miter and wanted someone to come and caulk it but was told we have to use the same subcontractor for the original work.  Of course, the contractor is out of town and so by the time he is able to come out, it will be too cold for him to fix.  I asked if they could send someone else out because we wanted it done before it is too cold/snowy/etc. and they said no, we have to wait and use the same subcontractor.  So, be aware, if you use this company and have problems with any of the work they do, don't expect them to fix it in a timely matter or, for that matter, care.  We have used this company for years and can no longer recommend.

I'd start regarding the lack of communication, but that seems trivial now.
Omaha Gutter and Siding used a subcontractor, "Exteriors by Westphalen".  They left a one-half inch gap in the fascia in one corner, and put the hole in the gutter for one of the downspouts too far inboard so as to place the downspout hard against the trim of the house.  I invited Don out and he tried for a good ten minutes to convince me that the misplaced hole for the downspout was "normal", said "that's the way it's supposed to be"...  etc.  Anyway, after I convinced him I wasn't going to let shoddy work stand, he called a guy at Westphalen who stated he'd do whatever it took to make the customer happy, I overheard that on Don's phone actually, so I felt good about the problem's resolution.
Fast forward another week with no word.  Not a call.  So, as it has been with these guys, I called Don at O G & S, he called Westphalen and then called me back, stated they'd be out in the morning.  That was this morning, and they did show up.  I showed the subcontractor (Westphalen) the issues and he agreed the gap was embarrassing, but that the downspout hard against the trim was normal.  I'm guessing he did not want to spend the money it would take to correct it correctly?  After a discussion trying now to let the subcontractor know, as i did Don, I knew shoddy when I saw it, I had to leave for work.  I did let the guy know I knew he understood the problem and that when I returned from work the issue will be solved.
I took pictures of these issues, btw.
Got home from work.  The gap is still there!  I am not kidding.  Also, the misplaced downspout (hole for it in the gutter) was "solved" by apparently moving the entire gutter in the direction the hole should have been placed, but the downspout is STILL against the trim board.  ...Can you imagine the stress the downspout/gutter must have been under to stay connected before moving the gutter?!  Now I'm wondering about the stresses placed on the downspout at the other end of the moved gutter.
Not a phone call today to me to inform me of what's going on, either...
Like I said, the gap is still there.  Oh, Don at Omaha Gutter and Siding stated that when he mentioned the gap to the subcontractor on the phone that the subcontractor (Westphalen) stated that he "remembers that problem they had"...
Shoddy.  Low budget, low quality, lack of feedback to customer/failure to keep in touch.  Too bad such an easy fix turned out to be a non-fix and now a bad review.
I'm going to hire another company to fix these issues, it sucks but let this be a lesson to you.

I contacted several gutter installers, some of whom had thicker gutter samples, but I ultimately decided that I didn't need top-of-the-line material or other fancy options. The salesman who made the initial contact was professional and courteous and even made a second trip later to drop off different color cards since we were also painting our house at the same time.
The original estimate was two weeks from the date we signed a contract and accepted their bid. I understand weather delays can get in the way of crews doing their work (caulk doesn't cure when it's freezing) but I do not understand how a cold week of weather in November pushed the install date back five more weeks to Dec 18.
My only other complaint was not receiving a call the day (or week) before they showed up Monday morning at 8 AM. Punctual maybe, but announced would have been better.
The install crew was polite, courteous, and more than easy to work with - they improved upon the original design by moving some of the downspouts to less visible locations. This increased the aesthetic appearance of my house and I'm pleased with their initiative. I'm not an expert in gutters and so in my limited experience I very much appreciate when those that know more volunteer their suggestions when applicable. This crew did just that and it worked out great.
All told, I would have no reservations in recommending Omaha Gutter and Siding.

They never did call before coming. When they did come they put the gutter up but did not finish the small siding repair. The company said the man had come out 3 times to finish the siding but I wasn't home. The siding is in my garage. They need to call me to finish the job. No money has been paid until the job is finished.

I asked OGS to repair a bent fascia board and rehang a storm window on the 3rd floor, which they agreed to do. They repaired the fascia board satisfactorily, but they did not rehang the storm window because the technician forgot. When I called to have them come back out and rehang the window, they agreed to stop by and hang it at some point convenient to them. More than a week passed and I called them to remind them about the storm window they had agreed to rehang. When i called, they proposed more work to do on my gutters. I felt the proposal and the price was partly an attempt to make some revenue off another trip to my house (thus my grade on Price). However, I agreed to the additional work since I didn't want to start over again with a new contractor. Another week passed and no work was performed. Throughout this transaction (11/15/2012 to 12/18/2012) I had the storm window semi-securely placed conspicuously so OGS could make good on our agreement and rehang the window at their convenience. During the blizzard on 12/18, the window was blown over and broken. OGS is not responsible for breaking the window, of course, but if they had executed our agreement promptly in the month before the storm, I would not have to replace an antiquated storm window pane and glazing or clean glass from my patio.

Overall went very well. I had used this company to replace a section of siding on our house in Apr 07 and they did very good work. Was able to hire the same tech for this job. The siding replacement went without a hitch--excellent work at a very fair price IMHO. The window replacement went ok--the subcontractor involved was a good guy, but seemed more and quot;ad hocand quot; (not sure if he was really familiar with how to install the vinyl windows from MN I'd chosen, not a lot of tools, etc)--windows got installed but not a process I would want to repeat.
Will still use this company for siding, but will try elsewhere for windows.

Don came out and performed a responsive/reasonable estimate. Work started on a Friday and finished the following Monday. Only one hiccup: the installer forgot to attach the southeast downspout to the gutter (did not fasten it via self-tapping screws). I had to snap a quick picture on Monday evening and email. OGS apologized and corrected the problem the very next day. OGS would have merited an and quot;Aand quot; review if this would not have happened.

They were fast and efficient. They cleaned up behind themselves. Everything was done within a couple of hours. They showed up on time; in fact they were here ahead of time. They even worked in the rain. I would hire them again and I have referred them to other people.
