This is the second time I've used Omaha Door and Window to fix my garage door. First time it was a cable. This time it was a spring. They were very responsive and professional each time.

It went well. They did a very fine job. Everything that they did was done professionally. They took care of everything as far as cleaning up any mess they left behind, they took care of themselves when they came in the house, and they didn't make a mess in the house.

A good experience - called on a Tuesday afternoon and they arrived on Wednesday morning. We had a broken spring on the garage door but asked that they replace both springs. Saved $20 with the Angie's List coupon but make sure they do take it off - it was noted on the invoice but not subtracted. ($227 w/coupon)

Second time we have bought windows from Omaha D & W. First time it went well, not so much this time. Two of the five windows
could not be removed as advertised once installed. The initial install started late October/early November and finished March 2014. Several members of the company tried to talks us into just taking the windows as they were. They did
order two new windows, one worked and one had the lock on the wrong side so another window was ordered. We told the company the final payment would be withheld until the work was accomplished and were told they agreed. We received
several bills in the mail with overdue notices even though we were told on the telephone everything was fine with the bill. Apparently internal communication is a problem for Omaha D & W. I might consider buying from them again because we like the windows, otherwise? We did get a $100 restaurant gift card for the window lock problem, but that came from the window company not Omaha D & W.

"We thank the [member name removed] for returning to ODW to buy more windows and regret that the [member name removed]'s second experience didn’t go as smoothly as their first. The windows ordered by the customer were installed within the contracted time. The window sashes are removable for ease in cleaning the glass. [member name removed], the installers, and the Installation Manager, who inspected both the installation and the windows, were able to remove the sashes as designed. [member name removed] was not able to remove the bottom sash of two of the five windows. Since the windows were properly manufactured and installed, ODW’s only remedy was to order the sashes of the two windows 1/8” shorter so that [member name removed] would be able to remove them. However, the process of reordering those sashes did not go smoothly because of a factory error so one sash had to be reordered again. For this reason, it took longer than expected for the reordered sashes to be switched out. Our investigation of the reason this customer received bills before the two sashes were replaced led to improvements in the way our Millwork Department communicates with the Accounting Department. ODW welcomes feedback from our customers because their input helps us to continually evaluate whether we are living up to our mission to provide our customers with quality products, expert service, and a positive sales experience."

Although ODW was backlogged with many gutter replacements due to storms in late 2013, it was worth the wait. ODW representatives worked carefully and neatly despite the bone-chilling cold of January, 2014. The men who replaced our gutters called us several times to keep us informed of their status for being on-the-job. They did an excellent job replacing our 60 year old gutters. The house looks wonderful. Should have done this a long time ago.
Our stay-at-home neighbor commented on how carefully the men worked to make sure everything was precise. He was impressed with their workmanship. We are too. We would definitely recommend Omaha Door and Window.

The serviceman fixed the problem and replaced the sensors which would not get a good signal causing the garage door to not go down. This is why I called them, but the serviceman noticed I had to push the garage door button several times before it would close and so he fixed the button. Turns out the button was put upside down by the original installer and so it did not have a good connection.
I was excited to get the button fixed, which I wasn't expecting. I like the fact that someone actually noticed the problem and fixed it while not charging me an additional fee or being asked to.
I will use Omaha Door and Window if I ever have any other issues or need a replacement. The price for the service call was what they quoted me over the phone and the garage door is working great.

The installer was very good, provided excellent ideas for placement and suggested things that made the use of the openers for easier use. He was very good at his job and was done in a timely manner.

Our experience with Omaha Door and Window was excellent. We had gotten several previous estimates for a Sun Room from other companies in Omaha and they all were over our budget. This was due to how the room needed to be connected to our existing roof. The folks from Omaha Door and Window came out and we discussed with them what were were looking for and they put together a plan that met both our needs and our budget. The room was ordered from a company in Iowa and when it arrived Omaha Door came out to install it. They used a two person team who did an outstanding job. The Omaha Door Manager came out a couple of times to check with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We have had the room for over a year and are extremely satisfied with it. I would definitely use the folks again for other products.

It started in December where our garage door remote and the wall button would start to open or close our door really slow, usually leaving it opened part way. We would have to unplug opener to reset it or close it by hand. It would work for a month or so and then it would do the same thing again! After 3-4 trips he finally replaced the logic board, and reprogram the remote that ended up having to be replaced a couple months later.

Our garage door wouldn't work because one of the springs broke. I contacted Omaha Door based on the reviews on Angie's list. Called on Friday morning and repair man came out Saturday afternoon. The work took about an hour. The worker was very respectful and polite. He repaired the spring and fixed the garage door. He honored the $25 coupon. The cost was $151.00. I have no complaints.

The spring on our garage door broke late Friday night. I was unable to get the door serviced by anyone on Saturday and was able to confirm an appointment with Omaha Door & Window for Monday afternoon. The service salesman Tim, who lives in our area, came by on Saturday afternoon to confirm the scope of work to ensure that his technician was properly lined out as well as discuss repair options. Tim was very professional as well as the technician who performed the work. Very satisfied with the level of service provided.

From the estimate to the after the installation service they were very professional.
The siding took about 4 days to complete. The individuals on the install crew were excellent. It has been 3 years since the install and it looks as good as it did the day the job was complete.
I was especially impressed by the follow up. A few days after the install was completed we had a very severe thunderstorm with damaging winds. Grant, the superintendent, stopped by early in the day to see if any damage had been caused by the storm. One piece of siding was blown off. A crew came later that day and fixed the panel.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality siding and installation.
