Thousands of feet of wood fence and deck are installed at residences and businesses across Iowa and Nebraska every year. Without proper treatment, this wood begins to rot and decay the day after it is installed. Most exterior wood structures & fences will only last 7-9 years without proper treatment. More than ever before, owners are becoming conscious of the need to protect their fence and deck investments by staining and sealing the wood. Our stains also beautify your wood structures with many different colors to choose from, or clear coat your structure to keep its natural wood look. We at Nebraska Stain & Seal have partnered with Wood Defender stain and sealing products exclusively, as this product has consistently shown superiority to every single other product on the market today. Wood Defender products saturate the surface of the lumber, penetrating into and sealing the wood, leaving the fence and wood with an even, uniform coating. No back brushing is required.

"Thank you Diane for your business it was a pleasure! We'll see you years down the road when it is ready for another application!"
"We actually first stained this in 2016, over 3 years ago. Angela and her husband built their deck with both old wood and new wood. They tried to save money by keeping some parts of their deck intact (mostly railing), and then used new materials for other parts (like the floor). As I do with any of my customers before we start, I explained what products we could use and the ultimate result of going with each option. On her project, a solid stain should have been used to cover all the old wood and the new wood uniformly and that is what I recommended. She wanted to use a semi-transparent oil stain despite my explanation of longevity and final result. She elected to do so anyway. Despite her decision, I went back the following year in 2017 at no cost to her and redid the deck again as I ALWAYS take care of my customers. I have not heard from her since then until this review. I also know that a major hail storm shredded a lot of deck finishes in her area as we fixed a lot of decks within a few blocks of her; so even after doing this deck twice, any finish would not survive the storms that rolled through this neighborhood. I have over 50 reviews with an average of almost 5 stars. This average is accomplished because I have great crews (the same crews for years), I do exactly what I say I am going to do, and I follow through with each one of my customers long after the project is completed. I am proud to say I have many repeat customers over the years of owning Nebraska Stain & Seal and my reputation and reviews reflect this excellence. Thank you."
"Good evening PJ - I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with how your deck turned out as this is the first that I've heard on this (I did not discount my services for you, although the amount you are showing in your review is quite a bit higher then the proposal). If you recall, we discussed why I had to do a hand application on your deck, and what the ultimate result would look like. We had to use a solid stain on your deck because of the age and condition of your lumber, and the type of stain that was currently on the deck. We went over all this together before you agreed to have us complete the work for you. This is a conversation I have with each and every one of my customers before they make a decision, so they know before they agree to use my services, what that final result will be. We achieved that result on your deck and for the record I'm very happy with it. All projects are different; some need different materials applied in different ways (hand vs. spray or a combination of both). Your project required a solid stain, hand applied by my professionals. I'd be happy to come back out and discuss this with you whenever you like. Take care."
"Hello Roxanne - I'm very sorry to hear that you are still having issues with your deck. This is the first time I've been alerted to this since we fixed you free of charge on warranty over a year ago. If the stain is still having a hard time holding on, there may be a deeper issues present with the lumber of your deck (perhaps the old pine is beginning to pull apart on the surface?). That can happen with older decks. I'd be happy to come out again and help you diagnose your deck, and if it happens to be an issue with my product; I'll take care of you again as I did in the past. But I promise you we didn't, and will not, rush your process. We only complete projects when conditions are good. Thank you."
"Thank you very much Jennifer for your review! And I appreciate the continued support for my company!"
